      ***** Siver was able to kick Connors legs literally at will, but somehow the champ won't be able to because conor is too quick? Mma math normally doesn't mean shit but in this instance Jose is 100 times better in every aspect of fighting than Siver.

    • @IamTiernO
      @IamTiernO Před 9 lety +10

      IMVNYEL So conor is going to fight aldo exactly the same way as he fought siver ?

    • @boycedresdin
      @boycedresdin Před 9 lety +5

      ***** did I say that? No. But please don't try and act like Conor is unhittable when Siver was able to hit him numerous times and was able to kick his legs out from under him twice with leg kicks nowhere near as hard as aldo. Not to mention Siver was also able to take conor down, and while he wasn't able to do much with it Aldo is much stronger and has better wrestling than Siver.

    • @MrDestructionFUN
      @MrDestructionFUN Před 9 lety +4

      IMVNYEL Silver was a steroids so i think siver in stronger than aldo. Sweep the legs for under him more like a stumble. but it will be a tough contest...................for aldo.

    McGregor uses a very wide stance which leaves him wide open for leg kicks. I don't care how tough he is, 10+ leg kicks from Aldo and his movement will be gone and since his movement is one of his best weapons this is bad news for him. Connor also leaves his chin exposed and his hands down. He can get away with that in the minor leagues because he has a good chin but Aldo will hit him harder than any body else has so far in his career.
    I'm not saying he doesn't have a chance. In fact, I think he has the best chance out of everybody else in the division because of his very unusual movement and sticking but but my prediction is that Aldo will finish him.

    • @allendonaldson1588
      @allendonaldson1588 Před 9 lety +1

      Agreed 100%. Cant wait to see how he deals with those kick. If he wins then I will say he is good." if he wins".

    • @BillyDukelow
      @BillyDukelow Před 9 lety +1

      I don't think Aldo will finish him, but Conor's strategy to counter the leg kicks will be interesting and how Aldo tries to get to grips with the unorthodox movements. I'd like Conor to win to spice things up in the division, but it will be a fight like he's never seen. I would have preferred him to cut his teeth against someone like Lamas or Mendes first and if he came through that then go for Aldo.

    • @allendonaldson1588
      @allendonaldson1588 Před 9 lety +1

      True...... 100%. I don't want Conor to lose. But its going to be one hell of a fight.

    • @limerickcrime
      @limerickcrime Před 9 lety

      cal kane Do you honestly believe that McGregor won't compensate for Aldo's kicks? Do you honestly think he won't be studying Aldo's past fights in incredible detail? Do you think he won't be developing a strategy to counter Aldo's strengths? McGregor isn't just a great fighter, he's a great thinker, and he and his trainer will work out how to beat Aldo. You must also not underestimate Connor's boxing ability. He has a powerful left hook, the most powerful in the division, and Aldo will get hurt if he isn't on guard. I can't wait for the fight. It should be a great one. McGregor has that belief/mentality/training to win.

    • @gmanespynoza
      @gmanespynoza Před 9 lety +1

      +limerickcrime Great point, since Aldo has no trainers and no strategy, in fact I'm sure he'll be sitting on his ass all spring long so he can just hand the bell to this fucking clown... All the reasons why McGregor's going to win according to his fans, they can be apply the other way around.

  • @KapoyIdol
    @KapoyIdol Před 9 lety

    I can see this fight going 5th rounds for C.Mc. because Aldo's footwork is not superior than C.Mc's, but I think Aldo will give him a good challenge because of those leg kicks, both front, side and round kicks. Although C.Mc's punches can be seen because it's a little slow, his fast perfect timing can make up for it. For J.Aldo, I can see him doing stop kicks of all kinds everytime Mc gets closer but if Aldo would stay calm he will not be shaken with punches from Mc, but I don't see C.Mc getting staggered by Aldo's punches because even if he gets hit, he's still calm and still makes the proper judgement and go foreward, so Aldo has to do the stop kicks right away because Mc's is gonna go foreward with a punch or kicks rightaway when the bell starts to ring. But i think Aldo will be a little limited in this fight if he plays Mc's mind games because Mc is just so good at it and if Aldo participates in that game he's totally gonna be destroyed both mentally and physically just like C.Mc said. I don't believe Mc is a mystic though.

    In this day and age, hype is what boosts up most people in any sport. Look at Johny Football in the NFL. The hype was huge. Look at the NBA, plenty players are always hyped up then have to play with the big boys and get put in thier places. The fight game is no different. Talk is good, hype is great, but you still have to fight the fight. I like McGregor, but he hasnt even fought a top five guy but because of his mouth, gets a title shot! Just like Chael Sonnen. Chael had like four or five big time fights in a row and won only one of those, a lucky one against Rua. Dana likes money. This fight is a no brainer as for as hype and money, and I wouldnt be suprized if McGregor wins....but I also wouldnt be surprised if McGregor gets Ko'd or submitted in the first round. Jose Aldo smiles alot and is very polite around fans but never forget, he's only lost once in his career, and hes fought the best of the best......and dispite the nice guy appearance he gives off.....Aldo is a f*cking killer in the cage.

Should be a good fight, I'm taking McGregor via 5th round tko.

    I'm almost scared shitless for my boy Connor, but I have a special place in my heart for Underdogs and Kingkillers. The only king in the UFC right now who earns their dick riding is Rousey. Rumble, Weidman, Gus, Rhanda from Iraq, these are the people I rally for. Jones has been a joke since his "win" over Gus and I see Aldo going the same way as Silva (minus the leg breaking). Nothing lasts forever. Every now and then somebody just goes "fuck this shit". FW division was stagnant before Connor and I'm all aboard his bandwagon, regardless of whether or not it crashes and burns in the end.
    If you listen to him and watch him while he fights, you'd see he's not an idiot big trash talker. He's one of the most calculating fighters I've ever seen. He's fucking surgical in that ring, and yeah, he hasn't beaten the best or a top five person, but I think skill is skill.

    Mcgregor is very talented and confident but i don't think he's at Aldo's level yet. I think he's taken this fight too early and hasn't fought anyone of real high level skill like Urijah Faber, Frankie Edgar or maybe even Cub . I think these guys would give Connor a lot of trouble wheras Aldo can dominate all of them... At the same time nobody's unbeatable but i don't think Aldo is at that stage yet because he himself is only something like 27 or 28. Should be a fucking brilliant fight anyway!

    I love Conner but he better be careful, Aldo is no joke and if Conner thinks he's gonna run threw Aldo like he has everyone else he's in for a wake up call

    Conner got this Aldo is only human and can be beatin. Conner has every tool to shut aldo out and fuck all the haters. Conner is a confident knock out artist vs Aldo who isn't. For those who think its all talk just have to accept the new featherweight champion Connor mcgregor.

    i believe the mental part might be true physical he is the bigger guy the only way i think aldo would take the win is if he takes conor down and get shots on the ground atleast once every round

    Stylistically, mcgregor is a bad, bad match up for aldo. I'm from England so it's not bias either. I just think thst mcgregor moves better and is a better counter puncher and is going to put aldo under pressure straight away.

    the biggest mistake of Conor's career was running his mouth against Aldo... he could've surprised Aldo, as Dillashaw did with Barao and Weidman with Silva... instead, he started to motivate Aldo.

    What a fucking huge pissing contest with most of these youtubers, jesus christ, why oh why hate on either aldor or mcgregor when their both doing what they do, convincingly AND for your entertainment. Aldo has walked the walk, mcgregor is doing the same, no matter what any of you say, he is super talented, a blast to watch fighting and has made every opponent he's faced so far, look like an amateur. Nobody has done this either with poirier or siver. If he rubs you the wrong way, so be it, but saying shit like "oh he sucks" or "aldo's gonna destroy him" is just ridiculous. The first one's just wrong, the second one you just don't know. It's like the other guy says, aldo's never faced someone like mcgregor and vice versa. It's gonna be a great fight, enjoy and leave the judgments for later. To everybody else, your either under 15 or just fuck off.
