My first time I quit the game at level 80 because it seemed like there wasn't much to doin the endgame. I started playing this week again and my overall experience was good. I've really been liking all the improvements, but I think there's still some damage/difficulty curve stuff to be tweaked. I'm running an incinerate & hydra sorcerer build and I can face melt entire dungeons, including the boss, and then have a helltide elite I didn't even see one-shot me. (Yes, it is a glass cannon build, but it's not THAT fragile)

@@davidskidmore3442 I don't mind getting one-shotted now and then, that's part of the "fun" of a glass cannon build, it's just that leveling is EXTREMELY boring. I can't properly cycle my spells since by the 2nd or 3rd cast either everything is dead or I'm having to respawn.
I had fun this season, but even in this state couldn't get myself to 100 and grinding the pit. Went back to Hades2 and felt a welcoming design and gameplay. I may return for new D4 seasons, but for the first time, I might not even try the expansion...

Would like some type of skill on the tree to unlock only at lvl 100. Or an add on skill tree. Yes paragon is something like that for damage but new skill animations are ever lacking.
I'm loving the changes. Hit lvl 50 on 2 characters after about 3-4 hours each. After lvl 30 you pretty much only pick up rares for the resources, and only look at legendaries for gear upgrades
Mark to keep has been around since season 2 as far as I can remember... Possibly around since release as I have been able to mark items as favorites so they cannot be sold or salvaged. But yea this season is fun.
No, i dont think you can even. Should finish campaign so that you can start with your mount at lvl 1. And get all your renown, because you only need to do it once. Same with altars of lilith.
I play Diablo games for the campaign. Diablo has never had any kind of complex end game. Ive played every Diablo game for the high production and good story/lore. I play Grimdawn for complex character creation and deep itemization. Diablo has never been about an endgame.
Just started my first character ever in diablo 4 because it's free on gamepass and didn't know I started when diablo 4 was at its best. And starting at the beginning of a new season 👌🏼
Are uber uniques possible to get now? i killed durial like 100x and got a shit one i didnt want last i played and said fuck this regardless time sink. Can we save builds on paragon board? Last i knew it was a big hassle to try new builds.
I was able to get 6 Glyphs to 21 before even hitting lvl 100 on my alt this season and that's saying something with how fast XP is. Glyph XP is no longer a chore since you can start doing pretty high tier NMDs at like, lvl 70ish or whatever. So you go from farming helltide to farming lvl 95+ Monsters in NMD which means that you purely drop ilvl 925. Once you are around level 85 by doing NMD, you probably have your glyphs at 15 or at least the important ones, so now you can go back to helltide and use a profane mindcage to boost monster level and guarantee ilvl 925 there too.
I thought it was perfectly fine at launch. But I'm _really_ enjoying the new revised version. Unique items are still...meh, at best: I have yet to find one worth using, mainly because the aspects on them don't contribute anything to my arrow-shooty rogue build.
i played a little in season 1 and realized it was still the same crap but came back for season 4 and got a necro to 100 and still want to keep playing. its way faster and way more fun to level.
I’m still waiting for the “New Class” they’ve supposedly have been working on. It’s been a year and still no word. Also why can we still not make different bills for one character and be able to save it?
I got excited when you said something about new bosses, expecting new/different mechanics, and then it showed you melting one in half a second.... The only issue I had at end game was that the whole thing just felt like I was doing the same thing over and over again. It doesn't matter to me that there are "different" missions if you're literally pressing the same buttons combos everywhere you go. Even adding some types of puzzle aspects or different phases with bosses would've got me to reinstall. This just looks like more of the same.
i got this game when i had about 12 family members who picked up this game. after a few months of playing many of them dropped the game. now only 2 of the 12 play. i gave it up early because i was really waiting for the next guild wars 2 expansions lol. i’ll never give up on guild wars because they respect my time and my money.
What happened? It's gone from a game I was going to shelve until the expac to a game I can't stop playing. It's not perfect, but it's vastly superior to launch and there are a LOT of endgame challenges now. edit: and here come the "Blizz sux" chants in the comments. shame, it's a lot of fun now but to each their own
Yea it's literally following the natural life cycle of every arpg. But we are in an age of social media and "blizzard bad" is worth a lot of clout currency these days, so it is what it is
@@phatymcdaddyI wouldn’t say that. The game was genuinely half baked on release. It was missing so much basic QoL and large parts of the game were extremely grindy or clunky. I totally understand why people were upset. You don’t get clout on social media by ranting about something being bad unless there’s a large enough group of people who are also upset by it
99% of my enjoyment comes from QoL improvements, reduction of the grind, and the loot upgrades. It went from “ugh, I can’t find a Legendary that’s better than the level 40 yellow.” to “Ew, I accidentally picked up a non-Ancestral. I need to wash my hands”
Most games right now can’t give satisfying end game because of greed. Developers refuses to give free stuffs they can easily monetize like cool transmogs. They won’t give chase items as a reward anymore that gives players motivation to play. And I don’t mean those uber uniques. I’m talking about cool legendary super rare transmogs.
Game is going on the right path, we just need few more improvements for endgame and wardrobe able to do multiple build specs like we were able to do in D3.
The main thing that turned me off at the beginning was that I could not play any of the released content unless I made a new character and played seasonal. Glad there is more content but I think I would still rather wait for POE2 than pick Diablo back up. It was fun enough.
I skipped the 2nd half of season 1, 2, & 3. Just jumped in a few days ago to check out if the game has improved. There are some good signs here, looking forward to the game improving. Interested to see when we might get new classes.

This is the absolute killer for me. No point playing until social is sorted.
A lot of people want Diablo to be a solo game, so I understand why the social things aren’t a big focus.
@@Sinthoras00 why play an online game for an offline experience. Where is the logic?
@@kieranlangley3092 I mean I like playing with my friend but I also like that I don’t feel like it’s a waste of time if I just want to hop on by myself. MMOs are great for people with too much time on their hands, but not so great for people that are lucky to get 2-3 hours on a Saturday.
@@kieranlangley3092 most would probably play offline if it was possible. Since it isn't here we are.
how do i know how many endgame bosses are in the game?
Use Google, maybe. Or find out yourself by finding all the boss altars.
Honestly im having more fun in S4 than i had in necropolis league. Im a 4k hours poe player.
even if your bored with necropolis d4 still bad, it's a sequence from bad(D3) to another d4bad.
@@banishedbr why you so bitter?

@@banishedbr how does it feel to hate a thing with all your being?
@@kenomenorias3200 lol if i hated i would be every day in bli$$ forums hating.
takes a year to get better damn, time flies
I like how the pit is actually an arp. Artificer's Realm Pit.
The helltide spawns some VERY difficult guys that hit very hard. There's a warning message about an agent of hell arriving. They get a special orange icon on the minimap. They are Bad Dudes. People who play Hardcore recommend mounting up and running from them.
Then the game is not for you. Enjoy your games :)
@@kenomenorias3200 Sad, but true.
D4 kinda comes and goes for me I’m still wishing for that holy damage class soon lol
I think thats the point of a seasonal game, im just thinking not realy sure tho...🤔
@@joelhodoborgasthings like new classes and zones are usually expansion content.
Both has already been announced for the first expansion but except that the class will be a completely new one they didn't reveal anything else about it yet.
The zone will be interesting since it's basically D2 act 3 but I'd assume we'll see many changes to the look and feel of it.
it would be so much better if there was a way to make custom "filters" that would automatically scrap a particular item that didnt have the stats that you have defined in said filter.
I've been waiting for this video, only guy that can convince me to pull the trigger on this game eventually
I would wait for a deep sale, 40 or less imo.
@@Desu-Desu-Chan-San Last time was 35€ I think, next probably 30€ and that's a decent price imo, I don't know if I'll have the will or the time to be invested in the proper late game so..
@@FrankB1110 Yeah, if it was D3 or 2 I would 100% recommend, but 4 has the paid seasons and so on. It is kinda a hard one to recommend because it is a time/money sink. So just go in knowing the D4 is wild with how much they try to make you spend
@@Desu-Desu-Chan-San I have never been the target audience for that kind of market, I've played both D2 and D3 but to pay for a season? Not happening. Thank you for the warning though, I'll probably do the campaign when It's on sale and that's it.
@@FrankB1110 Good on ya mate, the campaign part is worth the 40, hope you enjoy .
Couldn’t agree with you more, massive changes, for the better!! Enjoying the game once more
I’m still having fun at level 100 compared to bored shitless at level 80/85 with past season. Golds a bit of a pain. But all round fantastic update and item crafting is really nice and room to improve maybe but I’m extremely happy
Season 4 helltide is the best way to have fun imo.
Would like some type of skill on the tree to unlock only at lvl 100. Or an add on skill tree. Yes paragon is something like that for damage but new skill animations are ever lacking.
Getting to lvl 100 is like 30 hours. Its laughably short
We now just need build loadouts like in D3
As someone who stopped a few weeks into S2 this rework of D4 has been awesome! Very much enjoying everything the game has to offer.
What? you can zoom out on PC?! damn, do that for consoles blizzard!
I think they still need to add a lock your gear button, so you don't accidently swap out gear if you accidently right click something.
I'm loving the changes. Hit lvl 50 on 2 characters after about 3-4 hours each. After lvl 30 you pretty much only pick up rares for the resources, and only look at legendaries for gear upgrades
I reached lvl 100 in season 4, and I'm having a blast.
Is D4 better than D2 or D3?
Mark to keep has been around since season 2 as far as I can remember... Possibly around since release as I have been able to mark items as favorites so they cannot be sold or salvaged.
But yea this season is fun.
I was smart enough to wait and i just bought it last week… im enjoying the experience so far
Got a D4 ad right before the video
My question is, if I haven't finished the campaign, should I take the option to skip it?
I just don't like pushing one button to kill stuff. Then push a second button to kill stuff faster.
i'll try again 6-8 years from now, with Diablo 5... would really like Diablo to became more like Ultima Online... that was way more addictive...
…oh, there‘s a fourth part available?
Game is so much more better now. I still wish the skill tree had more than 2 options per skill.
I thought it was perfectly fine at launch. But I'm _really_ enjoying the new revised version. Unique items are still...meh, at best: I have yet to find one worth using, mainly because the aspects on them don't contribute anything to my arrow-shooty rogue build.
Whz when thez implement something, thez do not think if that thing is annoying? U know that the aspects checking will be time consuming and annoying.
The game for sure is 100% better now but I am looking forward for more updates and better stuff in the future
Channeling some TotalBiscut with that title!
Im having fun on it now thats for sure. Havent had as much fun since the story.
I haven’t stopped playing since release I have 9 lvl 100 characters and play it daily
i played a little in season 1 and realized it was still the same crap but came back for season 4 and got a necro to 100 and still want to keep playing. its way faster and way more fun to level.
This just looks like more of the same.
i got this game when i had about 12 family members who picked up this game. after a few months of playing many of them dropped the game. now only 2 of the 12 play. i gave it up early because i was really waiting for the next guild wars 2 expansions lol. i’ll never give up on guild wars because they respect my time and my money.
sunsetting content isn't respecting money... Actually literally the exact opposite.
Lol, guild wars, respect, lol
Talking about masterwork, but showing tempering.. Also to get into the pit, you need to complete tier 46 nightmare dungeon.
@@christaylor7079sometimes I’m picking everything up because I need some mfing gold 😂
@@christaylor7079 😂😂😂
It's better now, but still a long long way to go.
I want set pieces and runes 😢
The main thing that turned me off at the beginning was that I could not play any of the released content unless I made a new character and played seasonal. Glad there is more content but I think I would still rather wait for POE2 than pick Diablo back up. It was fun enough.
I skipped the 2nd half of season 1, 2, & 3. Just jumped in a few days ago to check out if the game has improved. There are some good signs here, looking forward to the game improving. Interested to see when we might get new classes.
Praying for crusader since launch
First new class will be in the expansion, supposed to be a truly new class, not a rehash of one from the past. Some sort of spell caster.
@@davidskidmore3442 that's good to hear, I wanted either something brand new or my sweet baby amazon to return.
@@davidskidmore3442 Honestly I just find it weird we don't have a holy class in a Diablo game. D3 Crusader was my absolute favourite class in the entire series.
@kovacspeti32 Always a chance, but maybe a new holy class could arise. Paladins on the other hand lore wise, the ones that survived all became crusaders or mercenaries.
They still need to inform you that you're about to overwrite an item with a lesser version in your codex or at least display the upgrade text on the item as it normally does at the blacksmith and vendors, it doesn't show it during the item selection from the codex.. at least not on console.
? You cant downgrade ur codex. If you salvage a better one, it upgrades.
@@Jaceftp i'm talking about using the codex on an item that has an aspect that could upgrade your codex, it doesn't show the usual text of it being an upgrade when in the codex interface
