i had squirrels digging up my carrots , so i went and bought a few rubber fake snakes and placed them around my carrots., gotta tell ya, worked like a charm ! but....every couple days i will walk out there and have a heart attack forgetting the snakes are there. worth every penny.

Do not feed the birds during the Spring and Summertime and you will not have that problem.

They don't eat the plant, just dig it up.If you can't beat em,feed em.
