So glad you found runecarver! Katarina ult and daggers both count as abilities so stack the energize really fast, you can have rounds where it's shooting 30+ bolts with each stack and doing hundreds of thousands of damage. Would love to see you try it!

How runecarver works is it builds up energised attack whenever your ability damages and when its ready it uses energised attack and grants you 1 rune stack each time for the whole round and after you gain a stack the next time you hit someone with energised attack it does its base damage and extra damage based on rune stacks. The rune stacks does not get consumed it can stack indefinitely. So more damaging abilites you spam more u get rune stacks more the dmg ramps up.
They need to change it so you get all 4 augments earlier. The fact that no matter what, you only get to use the the 4th augment for like 1 round.

at a certain point you went from playing league to playing PoE in that last match with Kayle
so runecarver works just like every other energized attack items. i.e. stormrazor, rapidfire etc etc. with the exception that it triggers and charges through spells and it stacks dmg with every time you trigger it during a match. the reason its so good with kayle is, that her range auto attacks are also spells.
And auto attacks do stack all energized effects, this works really well with rage Blade or twice thrice or both (+ on Kat R it is just stupid strong)

Runecarver 101.
You get energized stacks when using abilities as well as the usual walking and attacking.
When it pops you send out 1 rune that deals damage. Then you send out 2. Then 3,4,5,6,7 untill the round ends. So it's busted on champs that spam abilities and/or attack quickly.
Anyone else notice how he dodges his own maokais ult at 26:21 and doest even notices

The Runecarver deals it's damage 1 times, then 2 times, then 3 times.... then 20 times increasing each time you proc an energize.
Bel veth in arena goes crazy. I don't think I've placed lower than 3rd in my games as here even with ass augments. But if you get on hit augs, she's undefeatable unless stun locked to death.
I think veigar passive scale very hard with Kayle when she has AoE attack. Because it work with Rylai too ( count as ability )
So i never knew that kat actually scales with attack speed. Oh wow.

runecarver basically explained "everytime you hit an enemy you gain '40' energize stacks on the item. at 100 energize stacks it shoots out 1 bolt of true dmg. if after that you get another 100 energize stacks, it shoots out 2 bolts of true dmg and then 3 after another 100 then 4 then 5 then 6 and so on". and it stacks till the end of the round. imagine katarina ult. every 3 hits of the ult, you shoot out more and more bolts. i once did 45k in a single round on swain XD with just the item

Runecarver is OP, that's what I said on the swain video 😂. It might be the strongest mage item, since I'm pretty sure detonation orb was nerfed
Jhin maps do way to much damage with almost perfect accuracy and almost no cooldown. At least make it shoot only 4 times idk.

He got rageblade, and I don’t think he needed any help with the tanks.
@@bubbledog12 well yeah given enough time of course as we saw but for efficiency terminus was better than rageblade and it made me scream internally
@@devonspencer1562 he had kayle ult and scopiest weapons so he didn’t really need to be tanky as long as he positioned and rageblade allowed him to stack runecarver and firebrand faster.
@@bubbledog12 like I just said, i know he didn't need it to win as we saw in the video but it would have been more efficient to have the pen from terminus to help melt the tanks. I said nothing about the other effect of him being tanky or getting jumped on
@@devonspencer1562 right, I forgot it gave pen. But still isn’t true damage simply better than pen (in this case) because of how much true damage he’s putting off. (Also I was mistaken about firebrand i thought it ticked in true damage but it’s max health burn which is arguably better)

If you play Ezreal with any of the augments that make his Q perma spam, then buy Rite of Ruin... you'll end up with 35k+ shielding without even trying. Just be prepared to break your pinky finger from Q spam.

You can set a bind to have spells auto target yourself with a key press combination. Usually with alt or shift. So Shift+R would auto cast ult on himself
