It was a wet and wild weekend in Fort William, Scotland all the way up to and beyond finals of the UCI Downhill MTB World Cup. Rachel Atherton put down the fastest time of 5m 15.560s taking her 38th World Cup victory, which puts her within three of the women's all-time 41 mark set by Anne-Caroline Chausson of France. In the Men’s final, it was 2018 World Cup overall winner Amaury Pierron, who tamed the treacherous Scottish course with a time of 4m 28.578s. This makes back-to-back wins at Fort William for the French rider, will he repeat last seasons three-peat? Find out this weekend in Leogang!

That's actually one of the best downhill runs ever, top 10 of all time for sure. The size of his balls, putting ALL on the line, right on the edge of the tires, literally muscling his bike down. What a strong rider and a brilliant finish, how the heck did he hold onto that

I fear Gwin’s days are gone. The constant injuries must be taking a toll on him for sure, not only physically but mentally. Hopefully some good luck will come his way!
The new guys are so fast now, I think the bikes help a lot. Gwin looked rapid on the smaller wheels, less so on 29, hoping him and minnaar can put together some good results this year

Both winners were phenomenal.
He was busy looking up at the clock to see his time. It would have been an immense crash if he didn't save it,I think he was aware of that and that's how he saved it. It very hard to save a buckeroo.
