    Hi carl,so first is the stabilization of the larynx and then the thin out of the vocal cords,or the opposite?

      In one sense thinning out the vocal cords and stabilising the larynx are the same thing or at least employing the same part of the mechanism, if the vowel is consistent the voice is stable and the voice will thin out, it's inevitable.
