congratulations on getting companies advertising with you. kinda a sign that you made it
My best way of determining quality diners is seeking the ones open 24/7. Try Petes Kitchen whenever your back in Denver. 10/10.
I want to thank you guys for the great videos. I started watching about a year ago, as I was thinking about getting back into fishing, and your content gave me the inspiration I needed to get back out on the water. My 4-year-old grandson loves your videos as well, and he thinks it's pretty cool that you can take a school bus to go fishing. He caught his first fish last Summer, and that was priceless to me. Keep up the great work!
Hey! Next time, give us a text for shuttling! We float that river a lot, seriously! You got our attention when your shuttle bike was “stolen”! Unfortunately that’s become a thing here and there! Thank you for the tip to look around! I would’ve panicked and never thought of that! We’re glad you found your bike! We talked to a raft fisherman this past September telling us that someone had stolen fly rods and anything that wasn’t locked down out of his raft when they were doing their shuttle from the put in. Glad you caught some of the gorgeous Browns and the beautiful Rainbows! We consider ourselves pretty lucky to have it in our backyard! We like that you take us on your adventures! We always look forward to your next video!
If you do another venture to Canada at some point it would be really cool to see you guys around Kamloops, British Columbia or somewhere in the BC interior. I love your content and cannot wait for the next episode!
‘Berta too baby
Bozeman Mt. Lots of good breweries even better fishing.
Stopped what I was doing to pour a glass of bourbon and watch this. Cheers mates, great content, keep it up!
I would suggest Blairsville, Ga, but you guys would be on the road for about a month just trying to get there. Great series guys!
They’re from NC, and Tennessee
@@tryptaman4315 Oh yeah! I keep seeing them doing this stuff out west and forget that they are from the south east... It's Adam that lives in Salt Lake City, the bus is there and they base out of there. I guess they could do something without the bus, but then that would ruin the theme.
What's up wild fly. You guys need to come to Michigan and go fly fishing. If you ever do let me know would love to fish with you all and meet you guys. Fly fishing is my life!
New Year's resolution is to fish just a little more to have just a fraction of fun and adventure that you guys have . Keep up the great videos!
I had my truck and drift boat stolen on the South Holston while waiting for generation about 10 years ago. Worst feeling in the world when you come back to where your stuff should be and it’s gone. Glad you found the bike but I imagine the feeling was similar! Love this Colorado series. I’ll be there in July! Excited for the next vid!
Those methods heads don't play on the soho
Each episode gets better than the one before!! So proud of you guys.
I can speak for all of us when I say a meet up in Western Montana would be sweet
You guys deserve an absolutely mega year in 2022 - the effort and work that goes into creating these videos is amazing. Shout out to the time, energy and dedication you all show to making this channel a success! Wishing you all a very happy and prosperous 2022. Tight lines! 🤙🏼
Congratulations on creating an awesome Fly Fishing Journey film series. This is simply GREAT !
That was such an awesome episode. Gad me glued to the screen. Happy New Year!
Thanks guys! This gives me a taste of what I need to keep going. If you ever do a meet up in the Houston area I will be there.
Awesome video once again fellas. Thanks for the excitement and keep up the amazing work
I always say, patience and persistents, it always works for me. Trout can be a strange fish to catch at times. Enjoyed the video. 👍
My home waters are the South Platte River and this video is 100% accurate. Colorado does everything it can to make fishing as difficult as possible, but if you preserve it's usually worth it.
Please come back to NC. I live here and love Wilson’s. I know you guys used to fish there when you were around my age. That would be so sick.
There’s got to be a Montana meet up somewhere along the way.
bozeman?
Missoula!
Missoula for sure
Get outta here with that Missoula crap. Go Cats
Again, I look forward to watching another adventure y’all have. Keep it up
Always love this channel
Looks like you guys got the full Colorado Weather Experience! It can be tough out there in those windy valleys. Great episode as always dudes!
So stoked to see you guys fishing my favorite home stretch of water!!
Yesss another video. I get so hyped when seeing these 😆
I watch all these episodes twice because you always drop them when I’m at work. I watch it once at work in between 911 calls and a second time on my TV uninterrupted.
Your videos are always so excellent! Keep up the wonderful work! Thanks! Those browns were so pretty!
Great video again guys! Keep up the work
Really love the use of the podcast recording as narration. Super great video
Watching you guys drink beer is more rewarding than watching you catch fish, at least that is the way it looks from my lens. Keep living your dream fellas!
Have to get one of those early riser hats from y’all to show support and spread the word. Best series I’ve seen in quite some time guys, and reminds me of the shit me and my military buddies used to do. Been a while since I’ve laughed so hard, and even longer since I can say I’ve felt the pain of seeing someone else miss or lose a good fish. Y’all Flippin’ Rock
Thank you so much, dude! I really appreciate the support. Check out the hats here: wild-fly.com/shop/early-riser-strapback/
Hell yeah guys! I happen to be visiting my folks in SLC for the next couple months... Can't wait to check this out!
You guys make the best damn videos!!! Love the content, scenery, camera work, music, red beer and of course the podcast!!! Keep em coming.
Come on out to Northern California. Visit the Fall River Brewing Company and then fish the world famous Lower Sac!!! Hook into one of these girthy pigs!!!
Great job guys!!! Great way to wait out the storm and it turned out great!!! Good deal on the bike too!!!
Waiting with red beer in hand!
You know the drill 🍻
Best Fly Fishing Channel, love your stuff
Awsome Video! Really Glad you guys were able to find your bike.
Super cool too see you fish my home water!! Bummed I wasn't on the river that day to see you guys. Absolutely love the videos!
Great video as always!
Come to Billings MT. East Rosebud Fly and Tackle. Or Red Lodge MT, same fly shop (satellite) or Red Lodge Ale Brewery. We could definitely put something together. Love you guys!
Looking forward to the meet-n-greet. Fish on!
I’ve been wanting to get into fly fishing for a while now. I finally bought a fly rod last week and started watching some fishing videos. You videos make me really want get out and learn how to fish. I’m going to try and make it to the meetup in SLC!
Awesome, man! Hope to see you out there.
Some say this episode cures Covid
I totally read this in Jeremy Clarksons voice 😂🤘👍
There are very few videos where I'll hit the "Like" button first. Your videos are on that list. I smash that "Like" button first thing because I know it's gonna be good. Thanks guys for sharing your trips and all the effort you put into your channel.
I enjoy watching your fishing so much thank you will help me catch more fish
Great video guys!! I wish that trout route app had Alberta and B.C. Locations in it. Can’t wait to see what you guys get up to next. Cheers!
Y’all should do a meet up in the cultural mosh pit that is Missoula!
Yalls videos are the best!
I hope you all fish some small creeks soon. i've been trying to master the small creek trout areas and it's been a tough go but rewarding
We need an east coast meet-up... Innovations Brewing, Sylva NC. PLEASE.
Fiddlin' fish Brewing in Winston-Salem NC is a great spot for a meet and greet. its already trout themed!
Good stuff fellows!! Dang....that was a lot of free beer!
It's entirely possible that a sasquatch hid the shuttle bike as a prank.
The stick pointing to it was a dead giveaway.
They use stick markers as a language....God Bless The WFP!!
Keep up the inspiring content. Started following the channel and podcast and have to say the awesome chemistry you guys have really makes for some quality entertainment. By far some of the best quality production I’ve seen on the topic. With that said it makes me want to go fishing more. I just started fly fishing after 31 years of spin fishing. I love what you do in boon and the support to fish and take care of your local water. I have a tiny stream with some small browns that live there year round and it makes me day dream about going there. A trophy would be 10 inches and a good day would be catching more then one. Keep up the GREAT WORK and can’t wait to hear what the next volume is going to be. Wish I could make it out to salt lake to support you guys, but I’ll send my love from here. Also, I would like to buy some wild fly swag but it’s just a little too dad/hipster for me. Would love to see some different styles for your California supporters. Also I’m still rocking my grandpas vest but would love your opinion on a hip/sling pack recommendation for some wading fishing. Keep on living the dream and inspiring us stuck in the rat race to get out there.
Texas boys would love a meet up, we don’t got trout but we sure got bass and redfish!
Lovely!! 🔥🙏
Definitely come to Greenville SC. Its not far from Asheville and more fly fisherman live here than you think. Birds Fly South Brewing or 13 Stripes would have plenty of room for the Short Bus!
Glad that you got some fish on!
My local waters! Sucks the weather hit you so hard. It was epic to see yall behind Days Inn! Cheers.
Missoula, MT. You’ve gotta do a meet up there!!
guys gotta do this trip up in Maine
Recognize those Gunni browns anywhere! Great stuff love it out there
Favorite channel on youtube 🎣
Such a sic trip, though! Adverse weather is almost a requirement.
Meet up at CRUX in Bend Oregon!
Best spot
Ya’ll should do an Oregon trip for your next series and do a meet up in Bend! So much good trout fishing out here
cool stuff. thanks
Scotty, come to Brevard, man. I work at Oskar Blues, and I’m sure they’ve love to host you! 🤙 Tight lines
Michigan has great rivers and some damn good beers! Might be a little far for the bus, not sure.
Still, a really amazing place and the locals are awesome.
Epic fishing! That used to be my home waters, you should check it out when the hoppers are on....
Check out Spokane, WA Dryfly Distillery. Fishing spots within a short drive in any direction. Northern Idaho and it’s awesome rivers and streams are also very close. Great Trout, and Bass fishing!
Love your Chanel and following you all on your adventures! Keep up the great content!
DO A MEET UP IN LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS!!! WE HAVE TONS OF BREWERIES AND A GREAT FLY SHOP (which i work at) CALLED OZARK ANGLERS FLY SHOP AND WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU!!
Air tag those bikes!
love it!
Come to San Marcos/New Braunfels Texas! The rivers are next level!
Yall need to come to Fort Worth, specifically Shannon Brewery and catch some largemouth in the region. Green sharks on the fly are something else.
If your point in doing these is to make people want to fish more - mission accomplished. In my area, we're settling into a more dead time of year. Seeing what y'all are doing is inspiring me to plan for more time on the water in 2022 and making me just a little jealous. LOL. Keep up the good work.
More people is more pressure. Trout are a finite resource, especially when mishandled. Hoping they're aim isn't to make rivers more full of humans as opposed to trout.
@@flyfishingguide1991 I meant more about the people who have already been out there, but you have a point. The good news is that, in my experience, the popularity of fishing of all types ebbs and flows. And some of those who hang around for the long term tend to take care of the resources, which helps in preservation. And don't worry about me messing with the trout too much. I'm mostly a bass/warmwater guy and don't have enough success with the trouts to make an impact. LOL
Don't mean to be the stinky spot in the comments section, but with all the stoke happening around this channel, there will come a point when the survival of the fisheries needs to become the main focus, or at least a part. Jensen's is the best at this (and in general).
@@flyfishingguide1991 Just a couple of real quick points and then I'm dropping out of this convo. First, I don't recall seeing any video from Wild Fly or associated producers that promoted anything other than respect for land and resources. Sometimes it's about setting an example instead of hitting someone over the head with a lesson and I believe that Wild Fly has done a good job in that respect. Also, they have done explicitly educational videos that are still available on here, so it's not like they're telling everyone to get out there and abuse the resources. We have to be careful as fishermen to protect the resources, but I maintain that we can't do that unless there are great enough numbers of us to have a voice with those who don't understand. inviting people into what we enjoy isn't always a matter of endangering resources, sometimes it's ensuring their survival. That's kind of all I have to say about it. Good luck and tight lines, my friend.
Could try some desert fishing. Come down to Arizona while the fishings decent, or come down during the summer and catch your fish pre cooked when water starts to boil 😂
I know y’all get a TON of suggestions for places! But I would suggest either Heber Springs, AR or Cotter, AR! Cotter is a Super fishy town. And also it’s on the white river so that’s dope haha! Love yalls stuff!
Come up to the PNW in spring!
I fish that river all the time. The Salmonfly hatch in the Summer is Epic. The trout are big, thick, and happy during that time of year. Great video, that place is probably one of my favorite places on Earth.
Have a meet in Salt Lake City! Close to the bus too 🤙
Spokane at wildly distillery. Or where I live Wenatchee Washington.
Delaware River Hancock/ Roscoe NY!
Great series guys! Are you using intermediate line on your streamer rods or sink tip?
Please tell me that when you said the next video will be the “last episode” that you meant last episode of V3 and not the last episode ever of Short Bus Diaries. If not, I’ll be left staring blankly at the screen, drooling on myself, waiting for the next Short Bus Diaries. Keep up the great work guys!!
Haha!
It does mean last episode of Vol 3, not our last episode ever.
Wow...jealous as hell. Nice films--and fish.
You guys need to come to Fort Worth. Float the Brazos in April May.
Come down to the Great Lakes and fish the tribs for steelhead best experience one can have
Sweet, I might have to come out on the 28th, I'm about 35 mins north of SLC.
do it!!
At some new england brewery for sure
Do a meet up somewhere in the Midwest lots of good rivers here
Hit me up! 2-3 day Connecticut River float, best of Vermont and NH, an awesome airbnb, fishing is from Rainbows and Browns, segments of trophy native brook trout and end with a chance for Musky. I’d be glad to help entertain! And bring the Watermaster out to play, and I’ve got all the camping gear for the river days!
Gotta come to Bozeman, MT!
@wildflyproductions was the grey raft a stealth or stealth x? Was curious how stable it was and for a compact raft what you guys though of it? Was between this and the smith fly big shoals!
If you guys ever find yourselves in the Chicagoland area, please let me know!
Great video
