Great work! It made me happy seeing you use walnuts and not plain old peanuts!

😋😋😋😋😋
The brittle is a great gift to make for folks for the holidays, too.
Now I have died and gone to heaven. Thank you for sharing this video
You're so very welcome, Nancy!
Is it possible to use it grounded in cake recipes that require normal grounded brittle??
I haven't tried yet, Ivana, but I can't see why it wouldn't work.
OKAY MAKING THESE BUT POSSIBLE WITH GHEE. THANK YOU WOMAN
Ghee will work just fine! Enjoy! ;)
Is it possible to do something like this with Dark Chocolate? It looks doable, just wanted to know how?
Sure, that should work. Probably warm the chocolate and nuts and chill in the fridge, then break apart.
I made it with pecans and then a low carb chocolate drizzle. Turned out perfectly.
Walnuts have carbs though... even if you subtract the fiber it's still like 2 not carbs a serving... how'd you get zero??
I added all the ingredients and the intended portions to MyFitnessPal and used those macros, per usual. :) Feel free to recalculate if you make them.
Tried this. Tastes great. But didn't like the butter pool on the bottom side. The butter just didn't emulsify with the sweetener(powdered Lakanto Golden). Might try 1/2 the butter or sub the butter out for 1/4 c. water. Tasty never the less so thank you. :)
Thanks for sharing your experience with the recipe. I didn't have the same experience when I made it though, IDK. Let me know how your tweaks work out for you.
I think brown swerve reacts differently then other sweeteners so that is likely why
Pretty fingernails 😎
Hey, thanks Cathy. This is the first nice comment about my nails since I've been on YT; I guess it's triggering for people. ;)
I can't handle walnuts of this magnitude!! They are too much!!
I just made this tonight and ended up with about half of your recipe. Did you double for the video? My pan was scarce and I have a tiny square in my 8x8 that doesn't even take up the full space :(
That's odd, the original recipe uses an even larger pan in the recipe book. What size pan did you use? This is the recipe I made and the measurements I used.
@@TheLowCarbSweetSpot I started with a small frying pan about 6x6 and realized it was too small, moved up to a 9x9 to finish cooking and it seemed okay and full (but not quite as full as yours), and then poured it in an 8x8 metal pan. The only thing I changed is I didn't use golden Swerve, I wonder if it bubbles up bigger/thicker?
Maybe, I can't think of what might have gone differently. Maybe you cooked the liquid down longer (reduced it longer). IDK.
@@TheLowCarbSweetSpot I'm definitely going to make it again though, it still tasted really freakin' good.
