This made me cry such happy tears. Tyson would be so proud of this line-up. Cove Reber was/ is by far the best choice for sksk. So friggen happy to have seen this.
I just knew this band a week ago, after listening to a Cove Reber interview. And learned that the former vocalist passed away.
I like when things lead me to knew wonderful music, almost without looking for it.

Yeah, when this happened it was only supposed to be a one time thing. The original vocalist died years ago.... They didn't announce the tour until weeks after I commented... But yeah you've missed the point

I've been thinking the same thing since they gave the tour announcement. I'm hoping that they end up doing east coast since these shows have been so popular and I'm pretty sure most of it not all of them have sold out

Thank God that this happened before COVID hit. Idk what I would have done if this had got cancelled. This was such a special tour. My wife didn't listen to this kind of music in high school. I never imagined she would have had the chance to hear these songs live.
I am so happy to see this! I had no idea these guys picked things back up despite the loss of Tyson (❤️rip❤️). I fell in love with these guys when I lived in Gilbert, AZ and their EP was out. "What's up now?" and "my knife, you're throat" are still two of my favorite songs ever! I count myself extremely blessed that I was able to see them live in Phoenix (or was it Mesa?) in 2006. It was one of the most entertaining concerts I've ever been to. I went by myself cuz my wife hates heavy music 😥😥 but I completely lost myself in the moment. One of my most treasured memories.

Saw them back in 2005 with Emery, red jumpsuit apparatus and plain White t's. And just saw them in Phoenix a couple weeks ago. It was crazy cuz I happened to look on Spotify to see if there is any shows playing in Phoenix while I was there and what do you know, Scary kids! I'm glad I checked.
Cove was awesome, band was awesome, tribute to Tyson with his bro and sis there was emotional. We rocked hard that night in his memory! RIP Tyson

When I went to sksk last show, the last song that they played was What's Up Now. As we were shouting the song before they started, Tyson said "I hate that fucking song." Makes me wonder if that's why they didn't play it.

I Seent these guys in Memphis in 2006. i think they were touring with Haste the Day and August Burns Red. Every band brought their A-game. What a show! I think Cove would be a great fit if they decided to record another album...

Anthony Green is far better in Saosin but there's no denying Cove killed it here.
@@ohalistair Anthony Green is a high tenor while cove is a mid-tenor so their voices are a bit different even though slightly as both mid and high tenors are rare. I do think Cove can nail Tyson's parts, because I would say Tyson was likely a mid-tenor as well.
@@ohalistair I actually feel like Coves album with Saosin was better than Anthony's. Personally I think Anthony voice is beyond perfect for Circa Survive, the way his voice compliments that band is magical. But that's just my opinion lol
