Congratulation to ALL Three Jamaican for medalling in the 100m final and especially for SAFP for her historic fifth WC 100m gold. Shericka's PB (10.73 in the 100m) shows that all being well that she's the one to beat in the 200m. A change in coach by Elaine has made a difference; would have been in Tokyo form had she stayed with coach Francis. Anyway congrats to Elaine for getting her first WC medal.

To be honest, I noticed SAFP and SJ seems to be more "besties" than with ETH. I'm not sure if its genuine besties or their goal is to simply beat ELAINE. watch the clip of 200m nationals trials where sherika won and Elaine came second, SAFP 3rd. They hugged each other and ignored Elaine. I saw this yesterday after they won. ELAINE was kinda forcing herself to celebrate with them. Its seems odd. I'm not sure who instigates the cold reception, maybe its ELAINE, or maybe its sherica, I don't want to blame any because SAFP Seems to be easy going. When it was just Elaine and Shelly on the podium, they use to warmly embrace. I feel like the entrance of sherica has brought a bit of friction and when sherica wins she celebrates as if she is mocking someone, I just hope that someone is not Elaine, because Elaine will come back, she always does. As for SAFP, she is a legend and I respect her. She is one of the smoothest athletes I've ever seen, she always embraces almost Every runner after the race. Sherica seems to be the real deal, I have a strong feeling she is trying to prove Elaine wrong and it might work for or against her in the long run..let's wait and see.
