I'm taking a closer look at the ways in which I give, and struggle to give in my marriage with Billy.
How can I be more available to him in every way? Do I owe him an apology?
Our love story has been a bit complicated. The Genesis of how we met and the way God has weaved our relationship is pretty fascinating!

Today is my wedding anniversary. My husband died unexpectedly at 45 yrs old. Appreciate every single day you get together and every day your children get their dad.

Billy is only human and deserves to feel like your soulmate. You do not have to Alienate Billy in order to worship Jesus. It is your job to make him feel wanted and needed. It should never seem like a competition, that is just silly. Jesus does not want you to make Billy feel like second fiddle. Be wise with your heart and spirit. My anxiety has been causing me to sin in my marriage. I tend to speak a lot of fear-thoughts out loud, and when my husband doesn't respond, or isn't kind, I feel abandoned. I realized that I need to stop going to my husband with my anxiety, and I need to start going to God. It is written: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. I am going to meditate on this scripture and pray that the Lord calms my anxiety. Anxiety means I'm not trusting God, so I know it's sinful. Jesus is our great physician. I trust Him to help me.

@@mistiquefire3462 wow! A little harsh. He’s not perfect , but would hardly call him abusive or abandoning. It is appropriate for a man to distance themselves from their loved one for a time in order to gain perspective, calm down and control one’s tongue. He’s not a woman. Men deal differently with conflict. Grace is needed on both sides of a relationship. We are not the other person. And we come from different homes, perspectives, etc. The positive is coming back together and continuing to love, to grow and stay together.

@@imaamericangirl1406 I should add that the point I was making was, I was stressing my husband out with my anxieties. He can't be strong for us when I am peppering him with my fears. He's very patient and kind, but one can only take so much and we were at that point. God showed me how I was sinning in this way. Anxiety tells us we have no control. @@erinsmith9640 Sin is choosing. Fear and anxiety are not choices. Battling it and overcoming it with God's words and building enduring faith are acquired skills over time. Like the apostles in the boat with Jesus asleep. Old lucy wants to make you feel worthless. You are not. He has given you words of instruction and encouragement.
I do relate. I left my husband 4 yrs ago. After some soul searching and prayers , we healed our marriage and we are together. God wants what you want…🙏🥰

You may not be fair to Billy, but your life has been very complicated, with things no-one could even dream of going through-especially in front of the world-things are going to be hard and mess you up, but having a partner go through it with you and stand by you, is a gift.

I get a lot of comfort and encouragement from your videos because my situation is virtually identical to yours. We are even the same age. I came to Christ late in life two years ago @ 52. My husband is not a believer and “gets tired” of seeing me “read the Bible all the time”. It has been a very rough path to navigate. Trying to put Jesus first while still honoring my husband. I am surprised to hear you speak like this when the both of you have raised three wonderful children and are still together and better stay that way. One thing you must be in a marriage, mine was 48 years before my husband passed, we showed up for each other through thick and thin and we had our challenges no one escapes that. I took care of him through a long illness and one morning he passed at home in peace with my love surrounding him. Love is there take it and cherish it have no regret’s.

God has a plan in your lives Chynna, and He is always making a way for us to keep our focus on Him and he helps us to realize that our faith and relationship with God is our priority. I believe God is working in Billy's heart. I always love hearing him express his thoughts when your two are together. From my point of view, I can tell Billy has faith in God and God is becoming more real to him. God is patient and it takes time for some people to fully recognize their need for God. I like that you like tuna sandwiches. I eat a LOT of them. lol. A way I make them that I love that others might be interested in, is along with the Mayo I put in white pepper, black pepper, lemon pepper, onion powder, dill weed, and sweet relish. (It’s also good without the relish if you don’t like it). If it’s too “watery” I add some bread crumbs. :) 😁

I love your transparency Chynna! You definitely have incredible stories that encourage me. I just wanted to comment about Billy. So my sister married an agnostic and she is a Christian. I remember trying to talk to him about Jesus 30 years ago & he didn’t want to hear it. When I’d visit them in AZ I’d invite him to church & he always said no.
Our family has been praying 🙏 for him all these years and guess what…he came to Christ last year. My sister loves having her husband come to church with her & he’s slowly getting involved. Praise Jesus!! We’ve been praying for 30 years!! So I believe Billy will be saved one day. Never give up! 😊 I’m praying for his salvation. God bless you.

44 years for ME married, DITTO to everything you just said. I knew my husband 3 years before he asked the BIG question. IT has to BE their decision that I know. I talk about GOD & my husband doesn't say one word, I honestly don't know what his beliefs are, SAD really. All in all he was the best guy for me but things are NOT perfection, IT'S LIFE & I accept it & him!

My mom often made us a tuna sandwich with a slice of white American. I actually loved them when they were warm and melty at lunch. But sometimes I was still hungry after eating the cereal in the morning and eat half of the sandwich on the bus.

We had struggles issues that got way out of control we were in therapy trying to work it out but then he got sick and then he died and I never got a chance to make things better
I miss him so much everyday
And after he died my bond with Jesus got so much stronger then ever before
I always had faith in the lord and loved him but now it’s so much more
So please make things right on your marriage work at it never stop because it could be taken just like that
My husband was taken from me and life is so hard and lonely without him I miss his handsome face ❤

I am an infj. So I talk to no one I mean I am an introvert who would be an excellent counselor I am not one who listens to the world. Just ask God his opinions and trust my inner gifts of reading ppl. If you ever need to talk will recommend ideas to help you work on none weird ways of working on your couple hood
