Installing Jet Ski Traction Mats

Jet ski restoration part 4: Installing traction mats over Plasti Dip paint. I experiment with a couple of ideas for how to install them with the rubber paint already on the ski. This is not a recommended procedure but the paint was already down when these free mats arrived so I went ahead and put them to use. Time will tell how this holds up but it looks sooooo good.

If you go for it, I recommend that you do not apply them over Plasti-Dip paint like I did. They are designed to go directly onto the gel-coated fiberglass hull
