As a child, Sunday evenings meant grilled cheese sandwiches and Campbell's tomato soup made with water, never milk. I would discover that delicacy when I grew up. Sunday evenings also meant watching Lassie and the Wonderful World of Disney. My favorites were the cartoon editions. Today, Sunday evenings mean joining the global village of cross stitchers waiting for the newest episode of Just Keep Stitchin with all the childhood excitement of days gone by. Every village needs a nice country pub with a lovely garden where you can sit and stitch with a nice cold drink.

Hi Girls, the village is just beautiful . The winter scene always reminds me of a child here in England in the 60’s the snow just kept coming! Now that I am in my 60’s I no longer like the snow! There was nothing better than watching all the Christmas shows and waiting for Santa to come. Judy’s designs are so elegant. You girls keep all of us laughing. Thanks for all you both do. My 2daughters and I came by Tuesday (being out of town) for the first time. We had so much enjoyment looking and buying 😊. Keepsakes is located in a village that is so inviting. The ladies working at the shop were so helpful, we will be happy to drive the 3 hours again in order to shop. Thank you ladies.

Here's a suggestion for a floss tube shot out - Two Tall Stitchers. They are a mother/daughter team and once in a while, the granddaughter shows the diamond painting projects she creates. But, they cover both cross stitching and quilting. Lovely people!
Hi Ladies! Just love the Christmas village cross stitch! It brings back happy memories of a little light up Christmas village my dad would display on the top of the TV each Christmas ( back when televisions were considered more a piece of furniture and not the huge “ movie screens” of today!
The pattern reminded me of the tiny village of Proctor, BC. Sweet little bakery with the best cinnamon buns in the world.

My mother in law had a beautiful village set up every Christmas season. It was so beautiful. I have a few of her houses. I set a small Christmas village to honor her. I especially enjoy her pink church with a tall steeple. ❤

Being originally from Massachusetts, I have been collecting Dept. 56 New England Christmas Village houses for many, many years. My first house was the Old North Church located in the North End of Boston. Always a pleasure spending time with you both.
You had me at village. I love Judy Whitman's patterns but the Christmas Village is just gorgeous. As a former high school English teacher, Dickens is near and dear to my heart. I just love it. Those Primitive Needle charts are also amazing. I new out of print chart for me to hunt down! Have a fantastic week!

I grew up and continue to live in a wonderful little village in Wisconsin. There is nothing like it and I wouldn't want to trade it for big city living. The downside is that I do not have a LNS, thank goodness for online shopping, lol! Thanks for all the stitchy goodness. Take care of you💖🤗!
Fond memories of visiting Santa's Village in Northern California as a child. I still have the leather bookmark I got as a souvenir which now qualifies as an antique!
