If you don’t quit putting so much tension on your forehead hair line, it’s going to keep receding. The Traction alopecia will become permanent and might be too late to grow back any of the hair. But it’s worth a try, just try different styles that don’t pull your hair so tight around the front. 💗
Ps- also, if you trim off the ends on a regular basis, it will be able to show growth in the length. I know you won’t do it, but about a foot needs to come off the ends. It’s very damaged.

Unfortunately i have long hair and because the ends are ruined, they tangle easily and pull, especially the front and that causes the traction effect

How does the hair stylist not see that this girl needs to trim off her dead ends to have healthier hair. Nobody saying she needs to chop it off even with just a small trim she’d still have extremely long hair. At this point her hair is an obsession that she gets attention from. She’d get even more if she’d just go about it in a healthy way. Her hair is beautiful I love it! Mine is to my waste I trim a little off every month or so and it grows super fast.

Sod that. I grew up with long hair and my parents wouldn't let me cut it. As soon as i hit 16 i walked into the hairdressers and said cut it off. I donated it for cancer patients. My hair went from being down to my but to the length you see in my picture. But any one who has long hair good on you! I got too hot and bad tempered all the time.

Mine is past my 🍑 and it’s SO thick and I definitely get headaches especially if I fall asleep with my hair up omg.. I can’t keep it up to long anymore. But leaving it down while I’m sleeping I have to stay facing my hubby bcuz when I don’t I’ll wake up and can’t move because he’s asleep on my hair and I get snatched lol so if I’m dealing with this and more I can only imagine the things they deal with that they aren’t telling us about, and I could go on about the issues I have with my own long hair but I’m still not planning on cutting it 🤷🏻♀️

@@EsmeraldaWolfsbane7777 I saw comments mentioning that the first person in the video has a receding hairline because of traction alopecia, and seems to have hair that is fine ( in other words her individual hairs are fairly thin) and thin (not as many hairs per square cm compared to average hair density). I don't think people say that because of jealousy, I think they say it because it's true and they wish she would take better care of her hair. Traction alopecia happens when you put your hair up tightly, just as she does, and it tugs on the roots too much. So if she stopped doing that it would help a lot.
Looser braids would be better. The lowest 50cm of her hair looks very frayed which is understandable because hair goes through a lot. But no amount of hair oil or deep conditioning masks will actually put those fibers back together again. The best tactic would be to trim it (I would still be longer than knee length) and to avoid friction on the lengths and ends as much as possible.
I haven't seen any comments in the comment section hating the fact that she has long hair, I haven't seen jealous comments either. You have to stop interpreting valid criticism as jealousy. I love long hair, it's just a shame she makes such mistakes in trying to take care of it.
The second person in the video has hair that is in much better condition than the first. If people were really saying mean things out of jealousy for her long hair they would be going after her instead. I've seen no comments about third person at all yet.

Her hair is long but not thick. It's actually quite thin. Imagine if it were thick, and maybe curly. (Numbers 1 and 2 are thin, 3 is a little bit thicker but also on the not so full side).

@@EsmeraldaWolfsbane7777 nobody's jealous of anyone, calm down. I'm just noting that it's long but not too much maintenance besides the length.
I have 2b/c hair (loose waves), and it is VERY thick. If you look at the thickness of her ponytail where the elastic is, I have about 3-4 of those on my head as far as thickness goes. Texture doesn't always determine thickness (although my hair is a bit coarse and has random textures throughout it).

Its very pretty, the ends sure could use a trim. Your ends are really thin, trimming your ends will make your hair look fuller. The way they are now the hair looks damaged. Your hair is beautiful and it will look so much healthier.

Oh my, I just want to have long hair so badly... I have pretty long ones (a little below my waistline) but not that long... trying a new growth serum every now and then... But I'm skinny and I've always been that way - I feel like skinny people are less likely to grow super long hair, cause mine's growing faster when I'm gaining weight after holidays for instance, other than that their growth pace is very low... But I dye my hair red, maybe that's the cause of a slow growth.

They would probably have thin (aka individual hair thickness is lower) hair if they cut it to a short bob as well. I understand it would help the traction alopecia but they have thin hair because that's just their genetics. Cutting it short won't make individual hairs thicker.
