Elephants Having a Little Play Time in the Water - Cincinnati Zoo

Our elephants don't have to wait for Memorial Day weekend, their pool is officially open for the summer! Elephants really enjoy water and are surprisingly good swimmers. Cooling off in a pool on hot days is helpful because elephants don't have the ability to sweat. They also flap their large ears to cool the blood vessels across the ear which then circulates throughout the body.

Edie Koller elephants love the play in small puddles big puddles you name it they even go into big lakes they are migrators they just love the play in the water and in the mud elephants are awesome and such peaceful creatures!!!!

It’s a elephant pool party 🎉 tell me what are these elephants names and what’s their gender !!!! Just wondering
They remind me about toothbrush from zoboomafoo my favorite kid show when I was little . Those elephants are super curious and very intelligent keep up the good work hey if you get a new baby elephant born you should name him toothbrush to honor zoboomafoo and the Kratt Brothers aka Chris Kratt and Martin Kratt Who are animal expert and the ones who created zoboomafoo and Wild Kratts!!!
