Their story reminds me of my parents. My dad's first wife died of cancer and he was raising 2 daughters alone. He met my mom and she had 3 daughters and 2 sons. But all of them except 2 daughters were grown and on their own. My parents married and and I was born a year later and then my little brother 2 years later. But my mom raised the kids and dad would never leave the house without a hug & kiss from mom. If we were home he hugged us. They never fought if they did no one was around. He was so respectful of her. He loved her so much and taught us how a man should treat a woman.
