This video, and all of the reaction videos on this channel, transform the original material from entertainment into a commentary, educational and/or opinion expressing video. The original content that is “reacted” to is analyzed by professional commentators and podcasters, who use the performance to highlight instrumental technique and further discuss song structure etc. In addition, musical theory and style choices are also often analyzed and discussed.
While the video does use the entire song (as things such as instrumental performance and song structure must also be considered), there are many pauses. In addition, often the parts of the original content are played multiple times to examine a particular element of the song being reacted to. During pauses, reactors go into detail on the emotions that are invoked by the song or content, and why or why not they are good, or if they’re particularly difficult. The pauses often last a long time, so much so that this video cannot be considered a replacement for the original material. A link to the original video is always placed in the about section, and viewers are encouraged to watch it without pauses and commentary.

I give it to Dexcore with this one, but I really like both bands. Fun fact: Dexcore vocalist, jilukas drummer, and deviloofs bassist (but jilukas bassist is in the band now), have another project, Cazquis Brutal Orcestra, with some ex members of another Japanese metal band called Nocturnal Bloodlust.

Both are great bands, but Jiluka is better in terms of live performance and technical skills imo

All of Dexcore songs sound completely different. They deserve to win for pure originality and unpredictability.

Visual Kei started as metal music in early 80s, created by band X Japan (in that time just X), with specific visual style. Whole Visual Kei is about that there's nothing wrong in being different visually and in showing your true feelings and emotions and telling about difficult topics, all these things are hard for japanese people because of japanese society. And you mentioned theatrical style of Jiluka, it's part of Visual Kei, there are many theatrical elements in both music and visuals, nowadays not all bands have it, but if you like also other music genres, I really recommend listen to more Visual Kei bands, you can find there almost everything and bands just love experiments with music, in discography of one band you can find many different music genres, even in one song like you can hear here. ;) Some recommendations, if you like metalcore etc, "Blinding Hope" by The Gazette, interesting mix of metalcore elements with few other genres and styles, also "Chronos" by Matenrou Opera, they are symphonic speed metal band, but in this song they mixed their style with metalcore. Oh, and pronunciation of "e" in "kei" is similar to "e" in english words like "example" or "exit", "ei" is more like english "a".

Sorry I can't get into this stuff. I can't call it music because it doesn't sound like music to me. Riff salad is accurate - it's just an unorganized mess of random sounds and blast beats and screams. No melody, limited structure, no chorus. Vocals that aren't pleasant to listen to. Just not for me. Both bands sound the same to me - doing the same stuff just in different patterns. They sound like all the other bands who play this style and genre. Dexcore did have some nice clean vocals and was slightly more appealing because of that. I would vote for them.
