    Can't wait for training camp and the 2024 season to start so we can get some breaking news from the Chargers and highlights!
    Zion Johnson was drafted in the 1st round by the Chargers, can Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman get the most out of him playing next to Rashawn Slater and Bradley Bozeman? Here are his highlights and a full all 22 film breakdown.
    Ladd McConkey will be drafted highly in fantasy football this year because Justin Herbert will be throwing tons of touchdowns and highlights to him for the Chargers. Jim Harbaugh and Gerg Roman will utilize him well and he will be the number 1 WR in terms of production as long as he stays healthy.
    Jim Harbaugh has hired another former 49ers player as a coach on the Chargers in Delanie Walker through the Bill Walsh program. He'll be a temporary coach through training camp and preseason but we'll see if he can be a permanent TE coach for us, I would love that!
    Kimani Vidal is a RB from Troy that I've been talking about for the Chargers a lot. He has highlights that'll will translate to the NFL level quickly but with Gus Edwards, JK Dobbins, Isaiah Spiller, Elijah Dotson, and Jaret Patterson as the only other RB options, could the Chargers make Kimani Vidal a fantasy football RB sleeper?
    Deane Leonard earned some praise from Chargers Defensive Coordinator Jesse Minter after OTAs and Minicamp, so I watched every single play to breakdown his highlights and bad plays before the 2024 nfl season and training camp.
    Chargers OTAs and minicamp are all over and their practice will continue in training camp soon. Here is everything that Jim Harbaugh, Greg Roman, Jesse Minter, have said in interviews and all the players that have had highlights and stood out so far in camp!
    Tarheeb Still is improving in OTAs and minicamp according to Jesse Minter interview. Deane Leonard, Asante Samuel Jr. and Tarheeb Still are the Chargers CBs that have been highlights in chargers practices.
    Daiyan Henley was the 3rd round pick in the 2023 draft for the Chargers and this year the Chargers drafted Junior Colson in the 3rd round. Will Jesse Minter and Jim Harbaugh use Daiyan Henley in a way for him to breakout in year 2?
    Hayden Hurst had some highlights at OTAs this week for the Chargers and Jim Harbaugh must be taking notice of this.
    Breaking news the Los Angeles Chargers signed Alex Leatherwood the Las Vegas Raiders first round pick in 2021. The LT out of Alabama will give the chargers OL help and competition for Trey Pipkins and Jamaree Salyer at the RG and RT spots.
    The Chargers signed 21 UDFA after the 2024 NFL Draft and they were: Karsen Barnhart, Casey Bauman, Luke Benson, Akeem Dent, Jaelen Gill, Thomas Harper, Zach Heins, Savion Jackson, Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste, Leon Johnson, Jaylen Johnson, Robert Kennedy, Micheal Mason, Tre'Mon Morris-Brash, Tyler McLellan, Willis Patrick, Jalyn Phillips, Zamari Walton, Luquay Washington, Bucky Williams.
    The Chargers drafted Joe Alt, Ladd McConkey, Junior Colson, Justin Eboigbe, Tarheeb Still, Cam Hart, Kimani Vidal, Brenden Rice, and Cornelius Johnson.
    Jim Harbaugh has now officially hired Jesse Minter, Greg Roman, Andy Bischoff, NaVorro Bowman, Marcus Brady, Steve Clinkscale, Shane Day, Mike Devlin, Mike Elston, Chris Gould, Sanjay Lal, Rick Minter, Robert Muschamp, Chris O'Leary, Dylan Roney, Marc Trestman, and Ryan Ficken.

    Everybody dissing QJ...remember how bad Mike Williams was as a rookie in 2017. He was much worse than QJ as a rookie. But the next season he scored 10 TDs. Don't give up on QJ. NFL history is replete with 1st round WRs who underwhelmed as rookies but broke out in year 2, or 3. Remember Vincent Jackson? He did little his first three seasons, but eventually became one of the league's elite WRs. It shouldn't take QJ that long. I'm not saying QJ is going to be great, I'm saying it's too early to give up on him. He did show some flashes as a rookie.

    Haha, Chargers homers. That's OK, hope they are right. I'll be happy if Palmer, QJ, young Ladd, Chark and the son of Jerry all have 400-800 yds receiving and score 5-6 TDs each. That committee approached worked for well for Jordan Love and the Packers last season.

      @marcusreichert8566 Před 19 dny

      What’s wrong with being a Homer? Being a Loyal fan is what a real fan is, rooting for your team even if it looks hopeless. Every single person brings bias into any conversation so don’t act like you have it all figured out. Lightning round is one of the most real and honest chargers PODs I’ve watched. The real truth is no one knows what’s going to happen exactly because the game has a life of its own and there are so many factors to consider. The fun off the offseason is making predictions and it’s no fun if people come and criticize based on who their team is vs what they are saying. It’s like do you want someone who watches football and is perfectly neutral, doesn’t hate the nfl but doesn’t like it, is an expert on football but doesn’t have any passion for certain people in the sport or the game, just a robot. I have yet to meet someone like that.

    • @andrewbird57
      @andrewbird57 Před 19 dny +1

      @@marcusreichert8566 Homerism creates unrealistic expectations, when you make outlandish predictions that don't turn out to be remotely realized, it makes the homer who made this predictions look (and feel) ridiculous. It's different from optimism. Optimism is being excited for your team but tempering expectations to realistic proportions.

    • @andrewbird57
      @andrewbird57 Před 19 dny +1

      @@matts9487 I could see Josh Palmer leading the team in receptions, he has the most experience with Herbert. If QJ unlocks his potential, I could see him leading the team in receptions. Whatever the case, the league is underestimating the Chargers' WR corps IMO. They only see that KA/MW/AE are gone and that new WR corps doesn't have any big names or they look at QJ and see an underachiever. I think the WR corps is going to surprise the league, which is going to help the offense early in the season, opposing teams will be unprepared for it. Again, I see the Chargers WR corps akin to the Packers, no dominant #1, but a depth chart deep in decent talent, there will always be somebody open, and Herbert will find them.
