- It’s Wednesday, Mouseketeer "Surprise Day" where anything can happen and it usually does. Annette Funicello, the most popular of the original ‘50s Mouseketeers, and Tim Considine (Spin of the "Spin and Marty" serials), sing and dance along with the New Mouseketeers.

I loved this show when I a child. I remember watching the original when it was on Vault Disney. I wish they would bring this back in syndication. I especially with they would release it on home video. I guess you're never too old too old to be a Mouseketeer. I especially loved Annette. I don't remember hearing the voice over intros for Spin and Marty when I watched the original show on Vault Disney.
I loved this show as a kid in the late 70s!!
Wonderful, thanks to share, NMMC !!! All my love from São Paulo - Brazil !
Angel was our neighbor and friend... RIP
This show served its purpose for the time advertising the Disney company and parks.
Co-producer Ed Ropolo later co-founded Left Coast Television, which was best known for Welcome to Pooh Corner and Dumbo’s Circus, both of which aired on The Disney Channel.
Let's groove with the leader of the club and our unstoppable original Mousekeeter/"Spin" buddies and co-stars.🎯🐭🎵🎶📺☀️ Stay safe everyone!
Such a shame that the 90s MMC and recent Club Mickey Mouse never made reference to the New Club. If I ever hear Disney reference "Surprise Day" song, I might die of nostalgia.
I liked the "Surprise Day" song. It was cleverly written, brilliantly arranged and sung with enthusiasm by the 1970s Mouseketeers!
Hello Mickey
Nita was lovely
Annette presumably died of complications from multiple sclerosis, which she'd been suffering from for years.
the 3rd kid was on Raiders of the lost ark "The Crystal Skull"
I am just wondering what are the exact words or the lyrics what the NMMC Mouseketeers said just before they show the old film "Further Adventures of Spin & Marty" in this clip?
There was a great challenge in trying to revamp THE MICKEY MOUSE CLUB for the mid 70s. One of the biggest mistakes was in casting too many young children. This seemed to aim the show at 4 to 7 year olds. The original show attracted a larger audience, and was more intelligently and elaborately produced. This revamp was cheaply produced by comparison. The electronic music is a start.
Not all of the music on the MMC was electronic. Some of the songs featured full studio orchestras with lots of strings!
Can someone find me the link to the episode where Cubby and Darlene appeared?
That'd be great! I enjoyed the version of "Sing and Dance" on which Darlene and Cubby sang along with Lisa Whelchel and company.
Funny, but Pop looks like a kid who could talk your ear off.
Mouseketeer Lisa Whelchel played Blair on the TV show, The Facts of Life.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hcLisa Whelchel was my favorite Mouseketeer!
Billy "Pop" Attmore got his nickname because of his liking for soft drinks!
The 'Sing and Dance' number features great vocals and beautiful orchestration. Rest in peace, Scott Craig and Angel Florez.
Nita Dee's birth name is Benita Michelle di Giampaolo!
I had A big crush on Lisa Welchel as A Mouseketeer not when she became Blair’s on the facts of life, she was still pretty but I don’t have A crush on Lisa.
