Hey, do you sell those products?
I live in Germany and I'm interested in this particular bracelet (same color - same everything), if you do sell those products, please, share with us details :)
LEO Y Alejandra..😀😀
I've done this as well quite a while ago. Tip from me: if the starting loops don't cover the bar, add more loops and skip some loops in the second row to get down to five loops
I wish I had read this comment before I made the one for my Apple watch. Now I have to do it over again... :-)
AWESOME video and straps , I will try this on my invicta watch.
Thank you for sharing your craft
Awesome watch, beautiful straps! I'm gonna try this out soon :0
That turned out nice. The watch itself is more than meets the eye 👁.
love this strap, thank you so much
Awesome work!!! many tks for sharing it!!
Thanks. Nice piece of work.
Beautiful band! I think I will use it on watches for my Grandsons.
Very inspiring!
Beautiful!!
Great video!
Pulseira nota 1000. Parabéns pelo artesanato.
Wow it fits 🤩
I just commented on your conquistador cuff video about making a watch strap for my diver. I have some ideas to combine some things and have a very handsome outcome!
Excelente trabajo...!!!
You're a Legend bro! Grate strap.
I once stepped over a really great grate on the street. Isn't it just great seeing those steel grates on bridges?
Absolutely awesome I'm gonna do it on my Galaxy watch just as soon as I get a chance
I’m going to make this for my apple watch. Thanks for the inspiration
Do make a video and share
I’ve been making these conquistador stitch Apple Watch bands since the Series 2 watch came out and I have even done one for a Samsung watch but I had to return the watch for a problem with connecting it to my account. Most of my bands are 550 and the compass and fire striker clips but I did one in the 95 with 2 small clips.
This is so easy and result is so amazing.
Thanks for this guide.
My pleasure 😊
Just used this method to make an infinity loop for my Apple Watch using stretchy shock cord in Coyote brown. It looks amazing, but I think I used too thick of a gauge causing it to be a bit challenging to slip onto my wrist. I will definitely be trying this again later with a smaller gauge shock cord.
maybe i make a sololoop with this method. i'll try it. thanks for your wonderfull work!
*Very* nice. Looks so elegant.
Thanks for the video!
Question: would waxed cord work as well?
Beautiful ❤
I really like this...I think I want to do this on my Garmin Instinct fitness tracker.
great looking watch and strap combo. Recently i discovered what i believe to be the new knitting needles with the changeable heads. the heads make the most amazing fids. Just my opinion.
THANK YOU!
I've tried to find other videos for this weave but yours was so easy.
I've been trying to find a easy way to make a wide strap. So thank you.
You're welcome!
Nice Work & Video I made 6 or 7 of these watchs bands in different sizes and colors
Superb
Gracias por este video
Super impressive
EXCELENTE!!!
Wow that's awesome I have enough trouble tying my shoelaces 😆 🤣 😂
Nice bro
thanks for the tutorial. I've been able to sell more of these...❤
Im going to make on my seiko watch✌️👍
Perfeito!!!
Any suggestions for adding an accent or two tone effect with micro cord? I have a black and red garmin i cant wait to do this to. Keep up the great videos and thanks as always.
Very beautiful work
Thank you! Cheers!
WOW SUBSCRIBER HERE!!!
Круто, спасибо. Попробую связать.
This looks soooo good. Very impressive weaving skill.
Thanks for the great tutorial! I did this strap for my watch. But I had to use 22mm watch buckle, as 20mm buckle is not big enough.
Osam 😮😮😮😮
This watch is sick love brass watches
Big like
Damn.. really wish I found you at the beginning of quarantine. Any chance you could add an adjustable guitar strap to your list of ideas for a future video??
BTW... subbed!
WoW
I have a question.
I really want to try this but with a quick release watch pins, so I can easily remove the strap and put on another one. To do this I would have to use a thinner cord and do a hole near the quick release lever just you did for the buckle holes!
This seems awesome, and I really want to do an apple watch-style solo loop for my Withings watch!
I made this for my husband as he can’t wear leather or silicone as with most smart watches! We made a strap keeper from elastic instead and it kept the paracord strap in tight.
I have a question for you - is there any way to do this strap in 3 colours as long stripes so say eg 3 stitches in navy then 3 stitches in red and 3 stitches in navy at the start where 3 is just a random number as I’ve no clue how to do this!! These colour way is the colour of his military regiment the Scot’s Guards and I would love to some how do him a second strap!
Any ideas how to accomplish this - his pins are for a 20mm strap.
Thanks and LOVE the videos! I’ve learned LOADS from them and look forward to seeing alerts for new videos I LOVE how clear and concise your instructions are so easy to watch pause rewind watch pause rewind - I’ve seen loads but yours are always the ones I go to even resort to searching for “knot” names on your channel to see if you have a tutorial over others! Thanks again K
I done this type strap with 2mm paracord. It fits perfectly for 22mm width watch strap. Just for information!))) Thanks a lot for this video!
The adjustment holes for the Buckle are a great idea. I'm making a collar for my dog and have 4 loops (550 Paracord). Do you have any suggestions how I can make adjustment holes with 4 loops?
Sorry that my english isn't perfect, it's not my native language.
Seriously, what patience! But it's worth it.
Patience? This is stress relief for me. I once created a band for my Series 2 Apple Watch while a salesman was showing our family how much we can save by going solar. After, he said that his demo took so long because he got hung up watching me make my new band.
Can somebody tell does this strap are comfortable on the wrist? I love how it looks and maybe i[ll try to make one for me.PLS.............
Попробовал связать, получилось круто. Паракорда маловато взял только.😔
Do you do custom orders?
May be I'm the first to see😝😝
💕🔥👍
Is this like man-knitting?
I'm having so much trouble trying to do this. I can't figure out how to make the 2nd set of loops cleanly and trying to fix it causes the short end I threaded to just somehow unweave
Where I searched this paracord,,,,plz tell me
thanks for teaching. please forgive me; I don't mean any disrespect, but you (and others) are calling the needles a "fid". I was always taught that what you call a "weavers tool" is a fid, or marline spike. certainly the videos are superb, and i wouldn't see them changed. I truly wonder how the terms became exchanged.
Hey Scott, no offense taken at all! And you are correct, the "fid" I referred to should be referred to as a lacing needle and the "knotter's tool" is definitely a marlin spike or fid. I think I watched a video that called the lacing needle a fid and I just kept calling it that early on in my channel. Since then I perhaps have passed that mistake on to many other viewers unknowingly.
As for the knotter's tool, I think that's just what the product was called from the company that sold them, so that name just kind of caught on.
However, since realizing that mistake recently, going forward, I plan on using the correct terms for posterity.
@@TheWeaversofEternity I was ambivalent about commenting, but your response i heartening. here's what comes to mind: either an addendum to several of the videos, or a separate video. my opinion is that knotter's tool is what the catalogue calls it, and that it has a different taper than a traditional marlinespike. it also is a different taper than the fids used by the gauchos and cowboys (I plan to purchase one, and have many variant fids for every occasion). any item that is being stuck into a knot, weave, etc. is a fid--even if it is a pair of needlenose. if a lacing needle that is unattached to any string is used to open, tighten, etc.--it becomes a fid, even though it is technically a needle being used as a fid--just as the toothpick you used remained a toothpick, though it was used as a miniature fid. i think that a separate video solves the hazard of misinforming, while retaining the great quality and labor, and it is opportunity to clarify terms, history, and techniques all at once. additionally i am learning much. some of the design elements I will be able to adapt to my leather braiding; some i simply must use by purchasing paracord. e.g. the watchband. i have made several very nice ones from hand cut kangaroo, and they were durable and rinsible, but not as much as the one in your video. it is the ultimate for that type of watch. especially like how you skipped in order to make the holes for the tongue of the buckle. have done without that, as the leather forms a hole, but I will be experimenting in that case too. all of the conquistador wristwear you demonstrate is instructive, even though I have used the technique for years. also, the one knot one needs to know video is what lead me to your channel. thanks much for all the great teaching.
What are these green thing are called?
LEO Y Alejandra..😀😀
How much time you take ???
Heat shrink onto toothpick and 95 cord for home made fid
🤯 ... brilliant!
I popped one side of my watch's strap off because I lost my queen in chess, so now Im going to make this to replace it
I have an extremely muscular forearm with a 23 cm wrist circumference, most watches have 21.5 cm straps, so I can't wear them. Does the material length suggestion at the start of the video change if I want that extra length? Thanks!
I usually get a 50 foot length from Walmart for about $4 US and that’s enough for me. I just use as much as I need to.
@@JamesDyerTechGuy I see, thanks!
What is name material?
if I do a more narrow watch, can I do 3 or 4 rows across?
Yes you can. Just adjust it as necessary for the watch that you are attaching it to.
What's the thick of paracord
How much cord is needed please
watch model what
First!
Do you use the 8’ on the buckle side?
Yes. The adjustable strap side is longer therefore the shorter 8 ft strand is for the buckle side.
@@TheWeaversofEternity awesome thanks! Will send you a pic of the final product. Great weave, did it for an Apple watch
Do I have to keep doing this? Wait, I haven't even start yet.
How do you know how long a piece of paracord you will need?
Is there an equation for length of card to length of strap?
Sorry 3rd not the 1st
Where can I get the watch part?
Hey Neesie, I added a link for the watch buckle in the description box.
@@TheWeaversofEternity Thanks! :)
@@TheWeaversofEternity Can you share where you purchased the actual watch?
@@neesiedavis4062 Also in the description box, the first link.
