How to Install a Soft Start

There have been complications with a small percentage of customers (some of mine) that recently had soft starts installed. Most of the time the system just needed a fresh capacitor, but occasionally some systems didn't seem to work well with the soft start at all. Microair is investigating the issue. But until further notice we will not be offering this service. Instead I made a video to show how easy it is to install yourself. It was originally intended to be a DIY install by the manufacturer anyway. And it also discusses how to work with your AC professional to make sure the system is working properly after the install. You should always read the owners manual yourself because some systems are different and are not compatible with soft starts at all. Microair has excellent customer support and can help with those questions. Or talk to you preferred AC professional.
