    I've just started making hair bows for my 15 mo. old granddaughter, and I can't wait to give this one a try!!! I've learned how to make bows by watching your videos ~ you make it so easy! My daughter-in-law loves that little Clara can have a bow to match every outfit!

      It is easier than it looks Verna. I'm glad you took a look at the video. Like everything, it takes a little practice to train your fingers, but it's not complicated at all. Happy crafting!

      @@bonniegarbydesigns Well, that is an issue with me as my hands are getting more and more filled with arthritis so it is harder for me to do detail work. One reason I am doing more cards with dies now.

    I hope you get this message even though this video is a few years old. Can these be made with satin ribbon? Or is it best to use grosgrain?

    • @bonniegarbydesigns
      @bonniegarbydesigns  Před 4 lety +1

      You sure can use satin ribbon. I only caution that if you are a beginner, grosgrain is easier to manipulate because satin is slightly slippery and more frustrating to work with. It's also fun to mix satin and grosgrain in the same flower for mixed textures. Experiment and have fun! Really Reasonable Ribbon has both grosgrain and satin ribbon in 1-1/2" widths and a few colors in 2" wide it both types. Have fun!

      @bonniegarbydesigns  Před 4 lety +1

      ALSO - I have used 1-1/2" gingham ribbon with great success. That looks great paired with some solids. Check out my other kanzashi videos for more ideas.

    I clicked on to the site for the tweezers. I saw ribbon, clips, headbands(which I ordered a bunch) but nothing about the tweezers. Where do I find the tweezers?
