just wanted to make a comment for safety purposes, I bought the exact product mentioned here and used on my non-variable speed angle grinder, based on the OP's comment that he was using a regular grinder. The 5th time I used it, the rubber attachment for the polishing pads explosively failed and threw itself at very high speed across the room, along with the small tile I was working on. I don't know if the rubber attachment was defective, or if it was a result of mis-use since I was using a standard, non-variable speed angle grinder, but be very cautious.

I heard sealer with gloss will not last. thanks!

@@mr.swagily2659 NP, i used a one of those stone enhancers that 'masked' or glazed the entire tile floor, only way u can see it is if u shine flash lite on it, and its been a year already, but i heard i may have to reapply, i put two coats, it was that blue bottle miracle co. stone sealer/enhancer i believe just apply with foam brush, smells like kerosine, dry it...its at lowes.... so no grinding needed

Don’t use these dry pads for engineered stone! Reason is the stone uses a plastic binder that the dry pads melt. The result is a dirty gunky smear across your cut edge. This is not, in my experience, a problem for the coarser grits (400 max) but 800, 1500 and 3,000 cause the problem.
Either use the pads wet and tuned between passes or forget them and use wet/dry paper.

If you have water polishing quartz with diamond pads is fine. If not, we’ve come to find regular fine grit sandpaper polishes quartz much easier. Far to easy to burn like you said with diamond pads.

It’s hilarious to me how a review can be so poor… Here, let me show how this one disc bevels and edge I hold the tile up to the camera for a millisecond so you can see how great it did. I’ll do a similar task on a different tile. Wow, look how awesome. What do you mean it’s blurry? Pay no attention to the other discs in the box. All you ever need to do is grind down and edge 🙄 This is a great set, take my word for it. I know none of you came here to see the product actually do something productive.

@@ofiasdfnosdf , i would have liked to know the rpm he was using also. what i do know is at 3500 rpm these pads do not do what his video shows. (they are painfully slow) at least on porcelain. which makes me think hes running the rpm above the recommended rpm.
the pads are glued on to the velcro. so id bet @ 11,000 rpm theyd get hot fast and delaminate. possibly burn the tile also? not sure about that though.
