Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't know as much about Geralt but I did read many of the Drizzt books and aren't they nearly identical story arc wise? Apart from their outlook on life based on what I got from the series where Drizzt is optimistic and keeps trying to gain approval and a place for himself, Geralt seems like a much more realistic portrayal of how that kind of attitude and isolation would twist mans views on things while still holding his core beliefs. While I'd love to see Drizzt come to life I worry about the swordplay there as in all the books it's described as a dance. But hey I could be wrong and they could make a great show/movie out of it with the right people behind it
