The Game is basically Altered Carbon, the show. You're a detective investigating murders to find a serial killer. Pretty cool premise, can't wait to see some gameplay.

It's going to be a turned based strategy where you play as just one person and where time comes into play is that you can direct control that one guy and undo your mistakes.

It's called a reveal trailer. Games like Elden RING, Cyberpunk 2077, GTA 6 didn't show gameplay at their reveal trailer but that doesn't mean the developers are hiding the gameplay.

Capcom don't do everyhting right, but when they announced DMC 5 the same year they had it ready for release, that's comendable. More studios should do that.

I'm thinking he's a mix of Harrison Ford's most famous roles (Rick Deckard, Indiana Jones, Han Solo), like the off-brand depiction of him in the game 3030 Deathwar, with some more of his grumpy-old-man persona from newer movies and interviews.

Damn this looks clean. Nice artstyle, attention to detail, rewinding time as a detective mode always sounds fun and it's from Poland, so probably some veterans from CD Projekt are involved in this. I'm excited for this!

Here's hoping that this another one of those sort of disclosed, high-production value, sleeper hits that has somehow dodged the limelight of overpromotion, yet subverts everyone's expectations and pays it forward by being a fantastic little surprise of a gem that nobody was expecting. I'm referring to games such as Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy by Square Enix, The Ascent by Neon Giant, Kena: Bridge of Spirits by Ember Lab, etc ...
Actual gameplay will need to be a major part of that determination, though ...

Gives me flashbacks to the Cyberpunk 2077 initial trailer. The slow-mo panning cinematography, neon sci-fi intertwined with rough streets and turmoil.. and we all know how Cyberpunk turned out at launch. So, I'll keep my hopes low and my patience high. I'm starting to develop game-hype PTSD lol
