Thank you. Missed the live video. These moves seem easy enough to lead by rhythm alone. It's worth a try. If not, I will show the video to my wife. I introduced her to ballroom dancing during the covid shut downs.

This (live!) recording is a model of excellent (and succinct) video dance instruction. Teachers, take note.

Thank you so much! We love teaching and have been teaching and doing videos for a long time. I'm really glad we come across clear and helpful!

My favorite moves in the Intermediate Level are -
The Shadow New York Breaks or Shadow Crossover Breaks
    Syncopated Crossover Breaks
    Syncopated Fifth Breaks
    Syncopated Offset Breaks
And my favorite amalgamation at that level -
Two Way Underarm Turn (He Goes, She Goes), and 1/2 of Two Underarm Turn into R Shadow into "Dansan" Sliding Doors, and Exit with an Underarm Turn to Basic by way of the 2nd part of the Two Way Underarm Turn.

I also love this move - Half a Basic into Overturned Crossbody Right into Crossover Break R (L for Lady).

As I raise the hand, the follower tends to do an inside turn instead of following me. How do you signal (without verbal) to stay in front of you and follow u?

Hey Son! Are you talking about when the follower enters the back spot turn? Hopefully she will know to dance forward into closed position. If I have trouble with the follower understanding that I will keep a closed position grip with my left hand to help her sense a stronger connection as well as send going into closed position for the back spot turn. Let me know if that does the trick! -B
