This is a great video! My daughter just bought this same chair from FB marketplace and it has the name RORY on it and my Granddaughters name is Layla 😂 So this is a great fix!! Here's hoping Grammies got the skills to fix Rory's, I mean Layla's chair!🤣😂

I also got one of these chairs for my son on fb marketplace with another name on it lol, but it was free so I got it. I was thinking of how I would be able to cover the name, and this looks like the best option to do. Thanks for sharing ❤
Just stumbled upon this video after googling how to remove a name from a pottery barn chair that I bought used. But I was shocked to see that Evelina was the name on the chair before because that’s my daughter’s name and I would have loved to find that cover with her name on it!! It’s a rare name so I never thought I would see that on a chair, small world lol
What are the chances of that???😱👍 Hope you can use my idea and cover the name up.

Thank you so much for this great idea. My son received this chair with his name on it and now he’s grown out of it. I want to sell it now because it’s in like-new shape. With the monogram on it, I was either going to get a generic patch to iron on it, or sell it for close to nothing. This is a great alternative. Great tutorial and advice on the how you stitched it back to the welting.
Oh my gosh-thank you! I have to tell you that the chair has gotten so much attention without a name on it and it matches the new Farmhouse decor in the house so well. You should get you a good return on a small investment!!
