In the episode, Lou is forced to face the reason for her insomnia. Amy works with a new client who has a surprising connection to Katie. Jack wins over a prickly dude ranch guest.

Characters get older, people change, life changes…nothing ever stays the same… and HEARTLAND changes, too. It’s NATURAL to change and move on in life …only normal. I LOVE HEARTLAND 🥰🥰😘Never been an episode I haven’t liked, except sad when Ty dies, of course…but real life happens that way. THANK YOU writers and crew, etc… Please NEVER stop making this amazing and beautiful drama series ! COMPLAINERS - Go Away 😝
I just watched heartland season 17 episode 7 ….. LOVED IT !!!!!!! Heartland never disappoints me it gets better and I think this show just opens the door for Amy’s new adventure with a relationship 🤞🏽 I hope 😁👍🏽
I love hearland so much it has always been my favorite show and I'm so happy It's still running I love you guys so much
It's so sad to see that Lou doesn't have enough trust in Amy to tell her what's really going on with her. And I'm really excited to see what's wrong with her. The one scene of her younger self was in the trailer too, the scene, where I wondered who that is. Lou's younger self was the correct guess there who it could be.
Sometimes you have to be able to deal with it yourself before you can tell others.
And don't forget that "transparency" does NOT make for suspensful TV shows. Transparency is "boring" for TV.

I’m wondering if this has to do with her dad leaving when she was 15 years old. She looks about that age in the clip. She told him in an earlier episode that he was always asking her to do things she couldn’t do. Interesting to see what Nathan Pryce part is in this.
@@Ty-ty8ty Possibly, but I remember a scene showing Lou at the rodeo where Tim was injured, and she looked a lot different. This episode has me so lost

What did happen was showing that whole family were no good and there badness was passed on down to Nathan who is no good for sure that is interesting that badness will come out

She looked different because it was a different actress.. That scene was filmed years ago, probably more than a decade ago, so the actress from it is too old now to play a teenager.

That was a "Letter Jacket" & in the U.S. is bought in High School. Usually at grade 11 (Sophmore) so the ages would be close to 14 - 18.
11th grade is a junior, 10th grade is sophomore.
They have them in Canada as well. Available to grade 11-12 students. We also have class rings.
That jacket said Pryce on it! Please don’t tell me Lou is somehow involved in the reason Nathan left Hudson!?! I really want to see if he and Amy could have something more than just being neighbors / frenemies.
Lou was in the meeting with Nathan, along with Tim and Jack, about their lease to graze the cows on the property Nathan purchased from Sam. I didn't sense anything between he and Lou, and it seems like he would have been younger than she, so maybe he had an older brother?
@@UVIcki this is what I’m hoping for, but I wonder if that was Nathan she turned around to hug in the flashback phone booth scene. Maybe something happened to the hypothetical older Pryce brother on the rodeo circuit? But then, wasn’t Lou with Scott in high school? Or were they always on again off again?

Yesss Henny I dunno what it is about this show... My bf makes fun of me for watching white people sitcoms too, but none really captivated me like this one.
I tried Gilmore girls but I can't stand those characters 🙄. I been on such a Netflix dry spell that I watched heartland from season 1 over again. The first sitcom I watched back to back without a decade in-between.
They don't have 16 yet. We get ours on Up Faith and Family app which only has up to the end of 16.

You don't think it's vulgar, okay? Let's go in season 16 Finn kisses her and if he hadn't died in real life they would have already matched Amy with another guy. In season 17 she already went on a date with Edwin, Caleb kissed her and now Nathan. The Amy she was before is no longer she has to focus on her daughter talking about Father Ty and passing on the love he had for both of them. I think a true soulmate love like she said in season 14 doesn't end that quickly and yes she can be alone. Unfortunately, Heartland lost the magic of love and yes, the TV Show ended in season 14 with Ty's death. It was one of the best romance and drama TV shows in history. Now it's a TV show just to find a man for Amy, and no more family love. This is just my opinion. Hertaland has been over for a long time now and only money is profit for the writers
Heartland is one of my Favorite shows....and they are still making more? Are these on Netflix already? I watched heartland twice back to back! I really love Amy and Lou~

I miss Ty... would be cool if could find a way to bring him back occasionally like an identical twin at birth that was adopted out and did not get the nurturing that Ty received to turn his life around just showing up at Heartland. And of course, Amy would feel some need to help him. It's probably to far out there, I will watch it in my head. LOL. Don't care for the few pagan influences but love the cast and their characters, so entertaining.
@@Ty-ty8tyI just watched episode 7 of season 17 in its entirety on GEM, just terrible. They ended the TV show and are putting Nathan over for Amy at all costs. Heartland simply isn't the same show it was until season 14. The love is over, everything is over, they are making Ty's name forgotten without any meaning. These writers are making Amy become a vulgar woman, I don't understand why she can't be like her mother Marion alone raising Lindy. Simply Heartland is over.
It's not a soap opera or a telenovela.. Those storylines have no place in a show like Heartland. People really need to move on already, it's been more than 4 years now, Ty is not coming back.
Maybe they could do what they did back in the 80's with Dallas. It was all a dream and he really isn't dead...

I hope it ends once and for all with Amy there on the swing reminding Ty of what his life would be like and there doesn't need to be a season 18. It ends in season 17, that's my opinion. To honor all the good years from seasons 1 to 13 with Ty And Amy.

@@Ty-ty8ty I hope Jack talks some sense into Amy's head. May she think more about her daughter and not about men because a different man is getting ugly every season. She has to raise her daughter and teach her skills with horses. For me, I could age Lindy up to 15 years old and have her start working with her mother and finish Heartland with dignity in the 17th season. There is no way to continue this series without Ty, there was no connection, no meaning. My opinion.
This is nothing but a day time soap so sad what Heartland became maybe it’s the directors and writers both need this soap to end 2:48

Up faith and family Usually gets it the fastest However it still takes about a year for the new episodes to reach the streaming platform

Lou dated Scott all the way through high school. Why would Lou have a Pyrce Jacket? That is what I can't figure out. Nathan was a bronc rider way back when he told Amy that. So some bad accident must have happened to Nathan's family that he felt guilty about. It is a drama show so anything can happen.
I don't know about this. Lou's friend Nathan's sister that died. Oh no, please, please . Lou is seversal years older than Nathan and Lou 10 years older then Amy. So that makes Nathan several years older than Amy. No they were too cool when Lou met Nathan. This could be a nightmare, is it more then just Lou's insomnia. There another story that gets tangle up in the storyline. Hopefully a simple story with odd twist of drama. Come on writers don't t do it to her again. There is a complex but simple thread in this web spreading, which I don't think will amount other than drama.

Yes, she remembered Nathan left town presumably , but seems to have hidden the complete memory of that night of the phone booth call. It must be Nathan in that scene and there is a strong clue in what he may be holding in his left hand as he hugs her. ( not a cell phone.). Eloping plans to head yo the pro rodeo circuit together?💍

Amy has a lot of defects, but I love her, Lou has a lot of qualities, but I cant like her!
Heartland went downhill after season 11. seasons 12 and 13 were barely watchable. Heartland is all about Lou now which sucks.
