The sound and light show is something that one should not miss. It's a different kind of show wherein actual videos are projected on to the temple structure unlike the ones wherein only colored lights are beamed. It's called as projection show, like the ones used in Singapore light show wherein the story is projected onto a jet of water. The 45 min show explains the story of the temple its mythology and archeological details. The sound is through a pair of high quality dyanamic headphones, wherein you can choose one of the three languages ie English, hindi or oriya. You can collect the tickets at the entrance of the temple only and no online booking is available. The ticket price is just Rs 50. So visitors don't miss this show if you are visiting konark.
