No competition at all, both of you master restorers knocked it out of the park. Each of you with your distinct style and vision treated us to quality collectible.Enjoyed both presentations , thank you very much.👍
The wheels and the colour are perfect suiting that muscular look. I think your son should be your wheel chooser from now on! 🤩🥇✨ Peace, respect and stay safe, Ben
Enjoyed your makeover and subsequently watched Danny's. To me both makeovers are great! It's so cool to see the two versions of the Pantera. Congratulations!
Danny is awesome with his interior detail so I’ll give him the interior win! However that green on black as well as your exterior Detailing gives you the edge and the win for the build off from me! Congrats on a fantastic build mate.
Your son made a good wheel choice. The wheels with that colour is great. Maybe try a metallic paint with a candy over it.. or colour change. Fingers crossed for 2,000 likes 👍
The fascinating background to the car was that it replaced the Mangusta (a Corgi Jr casting of that can be found BTW) and although De Tomaso is an Italian brand, its founder was born/raised in Argentina. Furthmore, the V8 power block of the Pantera was produced by Ford and prompted the company to import the model to the US Market. Its also the reason why the 1990s heavy rock band fronted by Phil Anselmo were called "Pantera". The car was penned by the Gruppo Bertone designer Marcelo Gandini, who also made the Alfa Carabo, Lamborghinis Miura, Countach, Diablo, Espada, Marzal, Urraco, the Lancia Stratos, Maserati Khamsin Ghibli, Quattroportes, Fiat X1/9, ISO Grifo, Bugatti EB110, the Renault 5 Turbo (2 seat, rear engine monster) & the very early BMW 5-series. Oh for designers as radical as Gandini today eh?
Great job Rob, this is a hard one to choose. Both casting are in a total different style. But I remember having 1 casting back in the days that had almost the same color as yours. It was one of my favorites. So if I need to choose one of these I would choose yours. 👍
Hi rob and family hope all safe and well great video when I a smile boy I had one of these seeing it today it’s brings back memories great detail and 100% paintwork 👍💛❤️
Looks great, Rob! I think you and Danny both really made yours look great, and I can't pick a favorite out of the two. I went to college with a guy whose dad had one of these in the garage. I've seen a couple of these at shows around the area here, and they're really something to look at, believe me.
Looks great Rob, always loved the Pantera. Saw one at a car show years ago that someone had added twin turbos to. Imagine that one was a handful to drive!!
As for ideas!💡 How about building a custom? Say, a matching mk1 Transit transporter, carrying a mk1 escort rally car? Quite specific I know, but it would look great.... 👍 Love your vids! Keep them coming... 😁
Hi Rob . Happy new year! No way!! You did a Pantera...a great start to 2021. You might be pleased to know there was an Aqua Green colour in the production colours available although typically in the early years of production from 1971.
All the best for 2021. Both Panteras look awesome. I can’t really say which is better. I like the green, but the blue is also nice. Wow. Cool collaboration project. I am trying to customize a matchbox van. And I must say, it’s really difficult. To watch your perfect work is one thing. But to do it for myself I must admit , it‘s very very hard. Maybe an idea for an upcoming project. Keep up the good work. Stay safe. Stay healthy. The human malware is still around.
Love the colour scheme Rob, works really well on that body shape, as you say mean. Bright and early with this one on my notifications. Happy New Year to you and the fam mate.
Awesome mate, nice wheels ;)
Just the right size 💪🏼
No competition at all, both of you master restorers knocked it out of the park. Each of you with your distinct style and vision treated us to quality collectible.Enjoyed both presentations , thank you very much.👍
Both yours and Danny’s thumbnails were on top one anther I seriously thought youtube hadfinally snapped ...
The wheels and the colour are perfect suiting that muscular look. I think your son should be your wheel chooser from now on! 🤩🥇✨ Peace, respect and stay safe, Ben
Possibly the best car name ever.
Awesome Job Rob, but its no comparison between you and Danny, you both have your own unique styles, and are amazing customizers....
Great build off Rob!
I saw Danny's as well.
Both are masterpieces 👍👍👍
Love the candy colour 👍love the thought of these cars not going to the land fill. Thanks for saving them.
I'm sure I had this car when I was wee. Some of these vids trigger a childhood memory and I go back in time. Another great job 👍

I didn't think I'd like the green candy over the silver and, I was correct.....I LOVE IT!
One of my favorite castings of all time and color too. Love this one!!! Great stuff as always
I like how you both went retro on your paint jobs. Very nice work, Rob
I knew a guy who had 20 Panteras. He has since got old and sold all of them. But they are awsome cars. Awsome job buddy.
Nice job Rob and tell your oldest they picked a good set of wheels and tires .
Your son made a good wheel choice. The wheels with that colour is great. Maybe try a metallic paint with a candy over it.. or colour change. Fingers crossed for 2,000 likes 👍

Great job Rob, this is a hard one to choose. Both casting are in a total different style. But I remember having 1 casting back in the days that had almost the same color as yours. It was one of my favorites. So if I need to choose one of these I would choose yours. 👍
I wasn't sure about the green, but as you say "I think you'll agree" it looks great.
