- We have learned what our next Transformers Generations line will be for 2025. Transformers Generations Prime celebrates the Orignal 13 of Transformers history and lore as well as our new combiner in the Aerialbots with Superion, Animated Wasp, Armada Red Alert, Swindle (Bruticus?) and more!

I hope with the original 13 Primes getting new figures, Hasbro will release some kind of Primus as the crowning jewel for this specific collection.
hopefully they'll be based on their designs from Covenant of Primus Book.

@@Xeno-The-Wanderer That's because most of them aren't Transformers, they're primordial gods that embody certain aspects of the universe and their descendants. Amalgamous Prime is the first Transformer.
Fingers crossed for an Animated Megatron in the future to go with the Optimus that just came out, maybe even a Marauder version....
I really hope The Fallen is the Dreamwave War Within version, that's always been my favorite.
I could see Micronus being small on purpose, to facilitate Solus having enough budget to make her hammer properly huge.
Also, when they do Amalgamous, I think he should be a big box of Weaponizer/Modulator/Junkion repaints to represent his ever shifting form.
I was trying to buy Combiner Wars Devastator and Superion a few days ago, but the seller didn't accept my offers. I'm so glad he didn't! HAH!!!
Yeah, I’ve been collecting a few CW combiners over the last year. I was considering getting Devastator and Superion, but screw those. If the Menasors anything to go off of these will be great.
@@frenchfriedbagel7035 they will definitely be way better than the CW sets. Not only will the combined modes look much better and have better articulation, but also the individual figures themselves. The CW figures were good for their time, but they will just not be able to compare with the new Studio Series '86 and Generations Prime figures.
@@taikodrummer1554I have CW optimus Maximus which was a remold of menasor, and he’s pretty loose. He was my first combiner! I also have legacy menasor and he’s way sturdier.
Power of the Primes was when I got into Transformers, and this podcast. I am thrilled to be getting these mythic characters and the pretenders on their own 😅. But that being said- If Hasbro wants me to pour my minimum wage cheddar into these guys, im gonna hold off on Omega Prime. Tidal Wave is already so tempting anyway.
Power of the Primes, so I assume you are a decade younger than me. Be careful financially, I only started buying transformers again when the Siege stuff came out and I had been on a 5 year hiatus as I felt out adult life. These sound REALLY cool, TF Prime and all the associated lore was my thing, but I feel us younger fans should tread carefully. Try limiting yourself to a set yearly budget for transformers. Best of luck!

I think it’s called Prime in reference to it being about the 13 primes.
Nexus Prime could be a Titan class release, much like Combiner Wars Devastator.

I got back in with the End of Thrilling 30 and Combiner Wars. I would love more combiners with the Combiner wars ports but I doubt they'll go that way again.
My wallet is screaming with excitement! Combiners are my favorite part of Transformers, and I actually got into Transformers around the time of combiner wars, so I never really got the chance to complete any. Of course, Menasor takes top priority for me since he is my favorite. Devastator is a close second, so I’m most likely going to be getting the studio series 86 constructicons. I’m also really excited for Bruticus

Complete shot in the dark with this. I think Venom is going to be a new mould, and later we're going to get a traditional Insecticon repaint into a new Insecticon.

It kind of feels like we're going into Power of the Primes v 2.0.
It's so funny, I was planning to put together a custom set of the 13 Primes for a display, now I wont have to lol
Honestly, I don't really care about the made-up 13 primes stuff that came later. I just want modern articulation of G1 characters that are properly scaled, diaclone-level detailed, and transform as closely as possible to their original figures without fake parts and weirdly changed bits like Tracks's legs and Sideswipe's legs. And, of course, G2 repaints as appropriate, and Machine Wars and Beast Wars. I would like to see a redo of Mirage that transforms like his original figure did but with modern articulation. The Mirage mold we currently have just stinks with the fake parts.
There's used to be a fifth insecticon from Japan toy di dialclone, a female insecticon that transformed into a ladybug
I sincerely hope the Aerialbots will be more Scramble City-style and interchangeable how Menasor wasn't.
A lot of cool stuff, Skybyte, The Fallen and Onyx Prime are must haves for me, maybe Prima too. A shame there doesn't seem to be any BW, hopefully there's some Cores or Exclusives.
We don’t know the commander or titan either so who knows, though then again the commander’s probably gonna be silverbolt

I've been begging for an Autobot combiner for awhile.
On the note of micronus i am absolutely sure hes gonna be treated as an extension of the deluxe minibots. Cheaper than an average deluxe but more complex than a core. Seems like the most logical thing to do if they arent going full core
Hopefully they scale up and bulk out that JP93 figure if that's to be what Red Alert is based on. Stoked we are getting more Armada but that deluxe was certainly the weaker half of the first Jurassic Park collab; at least build quality wise.
Add ankle and wrist joints for the limbs, redo Silverbolt to that transforms properly.
Fifth Grimlock, they did Shattered Glass as well. They've definitely got their monies worth out of that mould.

Venom can be retooled into Cicadacon from Beast Wars and give us a Tripredicus character. Just like how we got the Magnaboss version of Skywarp out of the Airazor mold.
Bear in mind that early retail computer stock listings had items like SS86 "Slag", so a listing is not necessarily what will appear on the package,
The Arisen is just the Optimus Prime from Transformers Prime.
I need a check off list for everything coming out next year. It's just so much in such a short span of time, and most of it's not even officially announced.
And we don't even have pre-orders for Wave 2 for United yet.
Swindle is always must, IDW and Animated helped bring him into his own. I am down for collecting Primes and I hope it isn't like POTP. Wasp could be fun, Flatline finally I was wondering when Hasbro would finally make a figure out of this characte, they had been making figures on Tarn Skar, Rung, Javelin, Kaskad, Nova Prime and Senator Shockwave but finally Flatline. Skybite is a must for any RID fan loving all the attention that series is getting. Had Red Alert when I was a kid so it would be nice to see/get a new version of him.

I think there gonna do something similar to what they did with the Stunticons and how Breakdown was released but in reverse, there probably gonna introduce Bruticus in the next series and start with swindle in this series

First ..Yeah!! Crasher in wide distribution !!! Now for the Primes... I do hope for new cybertronian mold (no rider space please). I already predict that Solus mold will be retooled and reheaded as a Mystress of flames for a exclusif line. For the rest I keep my buying option open for the core class listing, 'cause if 2024 don't go better for customer and toy creator we could easily see that listing stretch into 16, 18 or event 24 months making some choice easier than other. But anyway let's celebrate for more Rescuebots.

I don't think all of these Prime designs are going to to be a uniform "ancient" look; for example, I'm confident that the Alpha Trion is going to be a recolor of Thundertron from 2024; the mold has those vibes, and would be a reference to thr TR Lion Alpha Trion.
Maybe that'll be the cicada type figure from the Beast Wars era combiner try predicas seems like it could be a good reuse of a new mold.
I’m hoping they re-release Legacy Breakdown and Tarn in the future because those figures is going for a ridiculous amount especially Breakdown 😪

I agree that I think Swindle is hinting at the Combaticons. Remember, one of the first Prime figures is coming in United this year, so I can see Hasbro deciding to tease what is coming next year with a figure in a wave before.
With Heatwave I think its a matter how how BROAD he is. I think he'll be a short voyager but really broad. Just as I expect Boulder to be broad and a voyage rand Blades a deluxe.

I hope we get a whole new original set of figures this time around. New designs, new configurations. I grew up with G1 toys, but I will admit, I'm tired of just getting, what is essentially, the same toys over and over again. And enough with the reissues. They are not selling, if you even find them. That's my rant for the day. LOL
I guess that is why there is a lot of combiner getting pushed in Gen Prime, Nexus Prime remold repaint lets go

I’m delighted about that future figures especially Heatwave. But I agree, I think the legacy name should stay. The packaging and logos were lovely. Genuinely I would love to see an art book of the promo art.

Heatwave is a slightly taller (not by much) than Chase in rescue bot academy. The sizes vary slightly, but I’d honestly wanna see him slightly taller than Chase, but still smaller than Optimus Prime.
All things considered I love the fact that we are getting all the 13 primes as toys but I fill like Micronus prime should have been a Core class figure and not a deluxe I'm still excited for them though

So we’re getting a new swindle in 2025… that means we’ll get a new bruticus… and if we get a Battle Gaia from this new bruticus, I’ll be a happy boy! Also sky byte, heatwave, wasp, onyx, venom and the fallen will also be definite buys from me.
I also think battle Gaia would go well with the haslab deathsaurus and the rumored upcoming pulse exclusive Dinoking recolor of core volcanicus

I think that this line should have been called transformers generations of primes. Then again, it would sound way too similar to power of the primes. Oh well.
I thought Legacy was just gonna continue actually. This new brand literally will be doing what Legacy have been doing since it's inception, bringing together figures of different continuities all throughout the years of transformers. I guess the rebranding is intended for retailers who like to see "new" or refreshed things on their shelves

@@antiseize11 we’re getting a ton in SS for sure, but pretty much every mainline Generations year has had at least one OP on shelves (whether it’s a new figure or a PR) and there’s nothing here so far
@@smoldream2908 Oh, that's what you meant. Besides the Haslab RID Optimus potentially coming out in that year, literally no in Generations line, but I think there's stuff yet to be revealed for that line, we're still missing core class, a commander, and a titan class
@@antiseize11 I always forget that Omega’s releasing pretty far from now! Not sure if Hasbro bigwigs would count that, though. At this point my crackpot theory is that the “Deluxe Optimus” slated for this year is meant to be some version of The Arisen and it’ll get PR’d at some point in the future to go with the rest of the Primes
13th/Arisen should have been Rodimus not Optimus, Just sayin. So much good stuff - Aerialbots, 13 Primes. I should start saving my money now.
