This ride should be on everyone’s bucket list. This video doesn’t do it justice. It is breathtaking. Once you’ve experienced it you just know. Believe me, it is life altering. It’s just that good.
Must have low expectations, just rude it and it was blurry mainly. Decent ride, but man, you overhyped it for sure
*rode
I was on the ride today and it was out of this world. Not blurry at all
@@prinsreintje dude took his glasses off to put on the 3d goggles
It took everything I had not to start bawling in front of my family-and even then some tears slipped through. As a huge avatar fanboy, this ride was everything I could’ve dreamed of. It was incredible. I went on twice, and will definitely be coming back in the future to ride this amazing ride again.
i’m not even an avatar fan but i cried on the ride it was so beautifully done
fr
How did u ride twice because that is what i want to do
Same, just went to see it today and it just felt like home…🫶🏼
@@livingmytruth2289 go very early to the part, wait times average like 60 mins but its really only like half of that, then purchase a lightning lane
Just went on this a couple of days ago. Not ashamed to say that I cried whilst on it and I welled up for the rest of the day whenever I thought about it. So, so beautiful.
I just went on the ride today! Hands down the best ride at Animal Kingdom! There are no words that I can think of right now on just how amazing this ride was!
It’s just a flying theater
Dinosaur is better
@@maxmusic5380just? 😂😂😂
How long was the queue? Was maxing at 4.5 hours when I went. Not long after it had opened tbf so a few years ago now. I got lucky and ran to the ride from the entrance and only queued just over an hour
@@snazzythesnaz really isnt… it is better
the smell during the cave part is amazing
Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, in this attraction is amazing.
Wonderful ride. So many great times in Pandora. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to have gone 5 times in my whole life. Truly breathtaking and mesmerizing.
Oh. My. Gosh. I wasn't even big on Avatar at all until I took a ride on this one. Loved every second of it and even ridden it TWICE in one day. Will be watching the movie soon
I don’t consider this a ride. This is a full blown religious experience
It's a ride created by a very talented and very created artist. Only God is capable of giving us a religious experience
@@LukeLovesRose nah man I was in pure euphoria.
@@TopDrumCorps Yeah. That's called great craftsmanship. I have no doubt that James Cameron was behind it all. It's still just a movie
@@LukeLovesRose It's their opinion, not everyone believes in god anyway
I rode it, it fells like your on the banshee
Huge avatar fan here. Finally got to ride this ride (twice) recently. Bawled my eyes out. 100/10 experience
That first drop was MESMERIZING! You have to experience it IRL. This video doesn’t do it justice
Is it scary
True but that rush nothing close 4dx is small and I saw the new movie in it
This video is the closest thing we have to re-experiencing the ride at home. Can’t wait to go back to Animal Kingdom and see it IRL.
Video did it justice, blurry on CZcams and blurry in real life. Like a movie from the 90’s hardly any definition and clarity
@@BrielleBurnett-fo1ww no. It’s fun °o°
At first, I am always scared when I want to enter this ride but after, I always wanna go again! The ride itself is so creative and feels so real! I recommend it if u love the avatar!
Thank you for your comment!

This is like a 5 course meal. It has literally everything. I love it
Not a fan of anything Disney and only came to the park bc it was a completely free trip-was generally underwhelmed by the park BUT what was the most stand out thing in all of the Disney world is THIS ‘ride’. Like someone said, it isn’t a ride it’s truly a spiritual experience. Beautiful. Soul shaking. I honestly was sad it was over. I wish everyone could experience it.
This ride os frickin amazing. Like the most beautiful ride in the worl
I wasn't huge into Avatar; I enjoyed watching it in the theaters but pretty much forgot about it after that. That being said, this ride is by far the best Disney World ride I've ever been on and it even brought on an emotional response in me with the music, smells, dynamic wind and sea spray...it's truly spectacular. As amazing as this video is, it's 100 times better in 3D and, to be honest, it's worth the Animal Kingdom ticket just to see this ride, let alone all the other stuff the park has to offer. Just go, you will never forget it.
Went, decent, you all on here way overhyped it.
Went on that today with my wife!! Absolutely amazing!!! It was awesome which I almost teared up cause it was exactly I pictured and the feeling like your actually there was perfect. 10/10!!!
THE BEST RIDE! Me and my daughter went on this ride multiple time. I would buy ticket to this park just to ride this one.
My very favorite ride ever at Disney World!!!
Was just on it twice this past weekend (January 2024) and it is the most amazing ride at Disney World. Now I hear there are plans bringing it closer to where I live in California at the Disneyland Resort at California Adventure. No timetable is set but I can’t wait!
Im almost 50. Quite the ride. Was able to do it with both kids, 17 & 9 and Husband. As a family, it was a very cool, bonding experiences
We were all impressed and able to ride it 2x!
This is hands down one of my top 3 rides out of all the parks
Went there 3 times in one day. Totally worth the wait line.
Best ride in whole of Disney World for me!
For me it’s Rise of the Resistance but this is an absolutely valid choice, this would be a 1b for me
I respectfully disagree, Rise of the Resistance is the best in all of Disney.
2:30-caught me off guard! you can feel the banshees lungs going in and out on your legs. its wierd but so immersive
I was speechless after this ride.
Hands down the most amazing ride I’ve ever been on! Can’t wait to ride it again!
I was in the Disney College Program last year. I would be at Animal Kingdom like all the time and would do this non stop. Miss it so much.
Pretty sure I had a big smile on my face the entire ride, it was amazing beyond belief.
This was one of my favorite rides
It really felt like you were flying on a bancche.
If you get an opportunity to ride this go on it! You'll love it like how I did.
This was the best ride in my life 😂
My favorite ride in Disney World. EVER!
i cried on this ride because of how beautiful it was omg
Rode this for the first time last week! It was amazing! One of my favorite parks and rides in all of Disney!
Absolutely LOVED this ride SO MUCH
Rode this yesterday and it was incredible. Not gonna lie, I cried a little. Felt like I was really there.
Still my favorite ride in all of Disney World. Even over Rise of the Resistance
Best ride Disney has ever made.
My favorite ride. Thanks for the memories.
Went on this ride this weekend, probably looked a fool whooping and hollering like i did, but I couldn't contain myself! This was an amazing experience😂
I screamed a little also don't worry lol. Love this ride.
My nephew, who at the time was barely tall enough to be allowed, when asked about it, said: "I felt free!" So did you, it seems.
@@perfesser944 couldn't have said it better myself
Honestly, I would be in the same position. I would be in sensory overload
ever since my first time going to Disney World this year I still feel like i'm there on this ride breathtaking it is
It's the absolute best sim/rider I've ever seen. You really lose yourself in this one, the g forces, the wind and water in your face, it really does "feel" real. The 3d is also fantastic.
G forces? You move in a 4 foot circle. You can’t generate anything in that small of space.
I just went on this ride a few hours ago! It was amazing was really worth the wait 😊
😂 Just rode it today and omg, I was in absolute shock when I came out! Shaking all over. It was the weirdest experience. "I'm enjoying it, but PLEASE GET ME OFF THIS THING!!!" I don't do well with motion rides.
This ride alone is worth going to Walt Disney World
Most amazing ride. Highly recommend
This is so stunning! I want to go on this ride!
I would love to have this ride in Paris. This and the jeep ride are two types of attractions we need to have some more variety
We just "rode" it today. It was absolutely incredible. Amazing!
Now I know how people must have felt when the Wright brothers first flew. Truly unbelievable.
I went on last year super fun 😊
Went in April of 2023. Loved
I was able to ride this before the pandemic!
My mind is blown i want to do it again ❤😍😳
Best ride like ever
My favorite ride at Disney world Animal Kingdom Besides Kali River Rapids It was my first time and It was fun
This ride alone itself is worth the entire $100 Animal Kingdom ticket
This ride will cure your depression
Yes and no. Yes, as in screen and added smells with the video experience. But 10times better than soaring.
as a wise man once said sometimes life is like this dark tunnel you can't always see the light at the end of the tunnel but if you keep moving foward you will come to a better place
iroh
2:40
3:00. 3:17
Every time I ride this I love the part where they cheer at you right before the whale jumps out the water 😭
i'm not an avatar fan but this shit looks magical.
In the words of Arthur C. Clarke: Every sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Add to that imagination and creativity and you have that experience.
My favorite ride at Animal Kingdom and I don't even care for the Avatar movies.
Could someone explain it to me? Like is this a head set? Or? I know we’re calling it a ride. But I’m confused
BEST RIDE AT DISNEY WORLD!!!
Can you do this with glasses? I’m heading to Disney in a couple weeks and was wondering if I need to get contacts or not
Absolutely you can. I did it just today.
I can't wait to finally visit Disneyland someday!!! I wish there would be one in Germany 😭😭😭 that wouldn't be that far to travel. The one in Paris isn't that far away, but it isn't as big as the ones in the USA 😥😢. Since my first visits to amusement parks (Universal Studios in L.A. and Osaka) i just can't get enough of them anymore. I would love to live a whole life there xD
@the disneys i actually only know Europapark xD Disneyland in Germany would still be one of the best things ever
@@ChousouKamo awe, I feel so bad for you! I feel extremely blessed to even have gone. I hope you travel down here again!
This is in Florida, not California.
You would do well to go to Florida. Take a couple of weeks, if possible. Not only is WDW there, but there is also Universal (two parks, not bad but nowhere with the attention to detain Disney has), there is Kennedy Space Center, and many more things to see.
Wish I could see it for myself
I have a question, is there actual wind and water that sprays at you during the ride? If so, that would be so cool and immersive!
There is. Also.. you can smell the woods
Yes and the machine your on simulates the ikran breathing. There's actually a really cool video that explains how the ride actually works.
You’re sat straddling a motor bike type seat. You’re restraint comes up from behind so you’re bent over your “ikran/banshee”. This motorbike like seat inflates and deflates slightly between your legs so it’s like the banshee is breathing and you’re actually there! The motorbike seat thing also moves with the movement of the ride and yes there is water and wind throughout. There are also the most wonderful smells in the forest and cave scenes. It it’s amazing and I have a massive grin on my face throughout, I’ve ridden it around 6 times and it makes me cry every time. If I could describe it in one word I would say… exhilarating 😊
Do you recommend it for kids? 7 years?
@@jesse54ec it’s a family friendly ride :)))
I wish they had something like this on the oculus 🥺😂
Is this an actual ride or is it just a 3d experience my daughter loves the movie and I’m trying to figure out if I should take her on this she 5
Wait a little longer, perhaps 8 or 10, and make sure she is tall enough to be allowed in all rides (I believe 48" is the shortest, but check). Not only this ride, but the WDW complex, is an experience every kid should have. All of the attractions labeled as rides ARE RIDES. If it is a 3D or 4D experience, you will be told beforehand.
The breathing between my legs felt so real and were extremely related to the ride without it this ride would be awful..
Imagine a group of victorian children going on this ride
This ride is what I hope heaven to look like!
How bumpy/jolting is this ride?
Not at all. If you close your eyes, you feel nothing lol
This is the best ride in Disney 100% I went on it today and don’t regret it at all even though the wait was almost 3 hours 😅 it went by fast bc my mom and I were watching stranger things s5 lol edit: BRO I WANNA GO BACK TO DISNEY 😭😭😭😭
É verdade que agente fica tonto ou tem enjoo?
I feel like i was in pandora for real !!!so realista
I was really depressed when it was over
Not really, no. It is actually satisfying, like a task well done and completed. You feel elated and fulfilled. Wanting more, perhaps. Depressed? Never.
The fact they added way of water content before I came out
I believe I read that James Cameron was heavily involved in the making of the ride and added in things that we'll see in all of the movies eventually
Looks fascinating. So how does this ride wor? You’re just sitting in front of a giant screen with the seat 💺 rocking back & forth?
Just like that!
It's kinda like a motorbike your sitting on, it's like the new TRON bike.
you're*
As an engineer, I always like to get to the nuts and bolts of things. Not in this case. I could figure it out but I won't. That way the magic will always be there.
How were you able to get a camera on this ride?
Magic !
@@DLPWelcome Haha! Sneaky Sneaky!
Does it still spray water ?
yes! i just went 2 days ago!
yes, went in the begining of june
So is this like Soarin Avatar version ?
Way beyond that.
My family begged me to go on this, and as someone who suffers from motion sickness, it took some guts, and Disney is lucky they weren't cleaning my guts up from the floor. It is way too immersive and I felt like I was falling to my death, I hated it. However if I could have just stood at the back of the room and enjoyed the graphics, that would have been fine!
I don’t do well on rides either and closed my eyes a little bit at the more intense parts, but it was so cool my fam wanted to go a second time so I hyped myself up to go again 😂
@@edaj1990same, i had to squint a couple of times but overall i think it was fine :)
There's warnings all over the place saying if you have motion sickness not to ride this for a reason.
But what does the ride itself look like?!!!
You sit on like a bicycle and get 3d goggles. It’s genuinely so much better than it looks. It’s so hard to describe but it feels like your there
@@lukelaird4324 ok. I take it you've been on it?! Lucky! That's awesome. I didn't know anything about the ride until now, but from what I've heard, I might not be able to fit on it. 😪 Hey, have fun for me,sweetheart.
This was a really dope experience - except they could sorta cut down the intro. I understand it’s to give you an experience. However; our experience broke down and they removed everyone from their bays and it nearly took 30 minutes just standing in the Avatar scanning room. Really good experience after that though.
Lol i was 33 i went on it 2 yrs ago horrible 😂😢 i almosted cried im afraid of heights was not expecting. The seats to pull nd put pressure on me . Then my son with autism was their we had to cover his eyes . He would yell when the seat moved into diving mode never again. Ps. Soarin it way more gentle not scary like this one
I’m sure everything is so big and luscious and why humans can’t breathe their air is because of the larger amounts of air
I'm going to Disney so I'm watching a lot of theses- profile picture guys son
Waited 2 hours to ride this. Definitely not worth waiting that long. Less than 60 min is the only way im getting back in line.
Avatar Movie
Can it be possible for Disney to create a ride unlike anything we’ve ever seen so far? Instead of this simulated ride, how about Disney designing flying robotic creatures that you ride on like you’d see in the movie, and when I say that, I mean theme park rides that you ride on like an airplane with flapping wings
The rides seats need to accommodate plus sized folks better.
Rides have to play the average. Particularly with roller coasters or drop towers, what you're asking would be at the expense of making them more unsafe for the majority of the population.
Lose weight 🤷
Or you could just be at a healthy size and weight if medically possible.Just saying
I don’t get the hype. It’s just a flying theater. I’m not standing 3 hours in line for that
Even standing in the line is amazing. It's actually far more impressive than the ride. I waited more like 90 minutes, though.
I cannot say this enough. Do you people even have your own criteria? The quality of the projection is not the best we all need to admit that, lookes washed out in person, the colors on this are saturated. All the long preamble for it is just so unnecessary for such ahort and simple a "ride" is just a big simulator. People just like to say its awesome because they spent two hours on line to get in. But in reality is really underwhelming. There is even parts where the 3D displaces and looks terrible, all the people in our room (bunch of people from Japan) noticed it, imagine this video is from six years ago, I did this simulator today and they still haven't fixed it. Not worth it. The Navi river is beautiful though, I enjoyed that much more, the end result is well achieved. The sinulator just moves you up and down and left to right while the room also moves. The mechanic of the room really is impresive. But the experience is not at all inmersive. Like everything in life, you can have all the gimmicks you want, but if the end result is not good, you don't have a good product.
This is a simulator and I am not a fan of those kind of attractions.... Not that I have any plans of ever going to Disney World. I´m European, Disney in France is more than enough for me.
Fine. You can go to the Bois de Boulogne and see the diseased streetwalkers, or the murders in the Latin Quarter. I suppose those will be real enough for everybody that wants the seamy side of life and frowns on some emotional escapism as decadent.
Flight of iknimaya tho ❤❤❤❤
I was practically crying when i went on it. It ment so much to see pandora for myself finnaly, and to have this experience was truly unreal i need to go back and do it all over again😢🩵🩵
Could someone explain it to me? Like is this a head set? Or? I know we’re calling it a ride. But I’m confused
It’s similar to Soarin’. You’re seated in front of a huge screen which is playing the video. The ride vehicle tilts and moves up and down slightly to simulate the motion.
