Sorry, her CPU Core was damaged beyond repair. When she merged with Colonel's Remains, Zero had no choice than destroy the Core, but by doing so, Iris died because of being connected to it.
still, the whole set up was flawed. if her cpu core was damaged, they could replace it with new one. i doubt they cant do it with their advanced tech, surely there is some way. i get that X and Z's case was special since their whole structure is a mystery known only to Dr.L and W, but iris and colonel was created in their current time even if resurrecting them will result in a blank state, its better than seeing them dead.
It's the tone that matters in songs that you don't understand. It's exactly what I like about japanese songs. It's the reason I like "Kanon Wakeshima - Tsukinami"
