Without really thinking I adopted your picking technique. I used to move my wrist more, but after watching you I let my arm do the work and it hurts much less.
Ah interesting! đ It has just been in the last few years that Iâve started using my arm more. For me it feels more comfortable/natural, and helps me feel less tense while playing. Thanks for watching!

How's your mandolin playing going 6 months later!! Mandolin is such a beautiful instrument I feel like I can relate to you I played guitar and banjo for years and started playing mandolin that was 13 years ago and I'm happy to say it's the most fun I've had picking! Snagged me a 1916 Gibson f2 a while back and am in love! I have to take my Micheal Kelly to jam tho lol

Awesome đ I believe this one was recorded with an Audio Technica AT2020⊠pretty nice budget mic, quite dark sounding though so I donât always use it..
I'm so impressed with the tone/timbre it captures - I've got a similar level of mic so it must be a mixture of technique and the room treatment. Thanks for the continuing inspiration :-)@@k5mando
