I purchased a lemon shaker just because of Radiohead and this song.
Gage Altgilbers I’ve taken to sleeping with a lemon in my mouth and a few extra under my pillow on a nightly basis in the hopes of channeling some of Radiohead’s magic. I wake up sucking on the same lemon as I was sucking on prior to falling asleep and I start the day by removing it promptly. I then make my way to the bathroom and stare into the mirror with soulless eyes, loudly saying “it’s gonna be a glorious day....fitter, happier, more productive...” etc etc.

Just amazing. Can't explain why Reckoner is so damn special to me but its just so damn special. Most bands start to suck after their first 3-4 albums and yet they keep going strong. Its a special thing, I tell ya...

So cool that since the pearl jam days (which when radiohead came out) they still make fuckin awesome music. All those other bands totally fizzled out. Radiohead...best band in the galaxy.

I don't know, In Rainbows, to me, is their last great album. The two since have been Radiohead being Radiohead. Good albums, just nowhere near the quality of OK Computer or Kid A.

A little over 10 years ago, a young Hearsticles decided not to go out for New Year's Eve because he wasn't feeling well. He got lucky and watched Scotch Mist live in its entirety and it was fucking incredible. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

every radiohead album has always had either the very best or most interesting songs up till that point in time. Reckoner is an extreme example of this phenomenon that no other band replicates this consistently.
almost all of the album was on youtube, but the centerpiece, the new equivalent of pyramid song is this, and it's incredibly understated an perfect.
although like a lot of radiohead's best, it's better in the studio- like let down, idioteque, imbw

so many years after the Bends (which for me is their turning point in career), these guys still bring more innovation to music than all other bands combined. Reckoner uses standard instruments in such amazing ways to produce original sounds, it's almost unbeliveable.
awesome vocals on this song... it just blends in with the beat of the song hauntingly.
Wow they have so much emotion in them, and so much passion. Its so amazing to see such passionate lovers.
