  • In this episode I chase a blue line I had my eyes on for the last couple of years. The water and fishing was not as good as my imagination had envisioned. Despite that, persistence paid off and there were some enjoyable cutthroat encounters.

Hi Ricky- Thanks for watching and for the nice comment. I was just watching your video about the fly rod down. I feel your pain on that one. I broke two fly rods on my last trip on the same day. On one the guide snapped probably due to falls and bush whacking and the other I foolishly failed to ensure the rod was entirely in the vehicle and snapped the tip when I closed the door. Ouch! Enjoy the fall season in the woods.

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words and for you taking the time to comment. Two more episodes to go on this trip and in the final episode the fish catching action catches up to the glorious scenery. Have a nice weekend!

@@larryhudgins6988 Hi Larry. Thanks for the kind words. In the early season on these western rivers I typically keep my dog back at camp because of the danger of the swift water. As the water levels drop, and on conducive rivers with fairly walkable terrain, he has started joining me now that he's a little more mature. Thanks again for watching!
