The CRO you stake to get the card ONLY earns weekly interest for Jade/Indigo cards or higher. To earn interest on your CRO with Ruby Steel or lower you would have to stake CRO separately from the card stake.
You can stack your cryptocurrency on Coinbase debit card but we don't have to purchase cryptocurrency just to apply and receive the card is what I like the most

I have upgraded to the ruby steel card my virtual card was issued 44 days ago requested and paid the $50 card fee and staked the required $400 CRO but they still haven't shipped my physical card yet. Is this normal for the upgraded card to take so long to get shipped?

@1InvisionProductions Yes, you would earn interest paid weekly on that $40k you staked + any additional amount you stake over that. I have a much smaller amount staked but can confirm I receive weekly interest payouts straight to my CRO wallet 👍
I have a midnight blue visa debit card right now, if I stake on a higher tier & upgrade my card into jade green, Do I have to pay any reissuing fee for the new card?
Hey Ray. No you do not have to pay any reissuing fee when upgrading to a higher card tier, you just have to stake the required amount for the term. One thing to keep in mind is that whenever you do upgrade it will reset your staking term. But if you're coming from a midnight blue card then you won't have to worry about that because you're currently not staking any CRO 👍
Do not apply for this card if you live in Australia (i don't know in other places) , they simply will not send it for months.. you will be left with stuck money on the platform
Hey there, I'm sorry to hear about the delay of the card. I am not sure if it is available in the Australia, but in the US they provide access to a virtual card on the app that you can use until your physical card arrives. Do you have access to a virtual card on your app? If you don't have access to a virtual card, and you want to withdraw, I would recommend withdrawing fiat via ACH bank transfer or you can also transfer your crypto out to another exchange or mobile wallet.
This is a problem that they ran into awhile back and because of that the Ruby Steel for example will always be a fixed rated of $400 until the company says so.
It will be USD $400 worth of CRO at the time you stake it for the Ruby Red. The amount of CRO needed would depend on the price of CRO at that moment in time.
He also doesn’t ever touch on the fact that if you convert your CRO rewards into a different crypto or cash it’s a taxable event as well as the CRO staking rewards being taxable (even though I believe that is a dumb law and staking rewards shouldn’t be taxed like income)

I don't know if its 10% or 12% for that tier, but currently i have the royal indigo one and that one gives me 10% APR on my entire 3500€ staking :)
I just staked the 40K Icey White and the app states 12% APR on the CRO paid weeky

BTW, just to be clear, the interest rates you see are the annual interest rate. You'll receive a fraction of that each week.
