@DeckWizard, just a heads up that you really, really don't ever want to disable 120Hz display via the Armoury Crate overlay. Not sure if you've seen Digital Foundry's technical deep dive video on the Ally, but they confirmed that switching to 60Hz forced results in the Ally shutting of all low framerate compensation, which is the other half of the amazing VRR feature of the Ally display. In summary, you always want to leave 120Hz enabled and, if you're targeting a locked 60 FPS, just rely on the in-game FPS limiter.
Man I hope everyone starts to realize 120fps wasn’t ever the point it was the VRR and lfc those are literal game changers

finally i found the only channel test triple A title game with plugged in to test full performance, cause without plugged in , i prefer runs on performance or silent mode with light game, plus turbo mode for triple A games without plugged in the battery last only less than 1 hour

Hi Deck not sure if you can help I’ve downloaded Forza 5 on my ally and when I go to play it starts to load then goes to desktop with a small picture of Forza main screen I can get around this and play the game but confused that it doesn’t jump straight into the game 🤔 much appreciated if you have an idea but no worries if not cheers.

Battery life sucks on both.
Here is my PERSONAL take. If you enjoy eSports gaming, get this. It blows every handheld out of the market with the 120hz support.
If you enjoy old games and single player games you should be fine with Steamdeck.
As for battery, playing AAA titles youll get 55-85 min on the Ally in Turbo mode and around 85-115 min in Performance mode

did you get a graphics card not supported error message?
Once u actually level up in the game and open new areas the gpu gets bottlenecked and u get the memory warning and the game will lag and stutter

Yep.
Locked 45fps on Extreme settings? Surpassed Xbox Series X right there. Not even Quality mode of that has everything ramped up to Extreme.
Settings aren’t properly applied. It would probably struggle to get 30 fps or there wont be enough ram for it to run properly
