I looked up the blacksmith. He passed away in 1965. I would like to see that work. Thank you Brent.

That is in east central Illinois. As near as I can figure the blacksmith lived Tennessee, and passed away during 1965.
      Thank you Kev.

It looks pretty light for its size. Interesting stuff you come across.

It's sort of a Midwest thing to have lawn art. We've done it on a small scale in town. tHank you.

@@brycewiborg8095 We have the same tradition in the east....only it is old washing machines, car tires, a sofa every now and then.
It all depends on what big city you visit.
      Have a great weekend!

That's cool. they definitely built it to last ,,it's neat they used for a mail box holder where people can see it when they drive by 👍 👍

As near as I can tell it was built by a blacksmith from Tennessee who passed away in 1965.
I would love to see how it works.
      Thank you Anthony.

It's a Midwest thing. We need plenty of lawn art. I would have liked to see that in operation. Thank you Erik.

What I could find online suggests that the blacksmith was from Tennessee, and passed away in 1965. I have no idea how the machine came to central Illinois ?
      Thank you Nelson.

I believe that the blacksmith passed away in 1965. That is a level area so I suspect drainage is a issue. We had drainage issues at home. Very few hills, but plenty of sloughs. Thank you Chad.
