Italy is the only country to lose in all this affair. Egypt canceled a huge arms deal with Italy due to this case estimated at 16 billion euros. They called it the Deal of the Century and it went to France. All this is because of the Italian left, which received bribes from Qatar, in order to sour relations with Egypt. This was stated by most of the representatives of the Italian Parliament in the Egyptian media.
Moral of the story can't trust anyone either you do good or bad . I repeat don't trust anyone.

Am I the only one who thinks that this sounds too familiar: Police arresting pro democracy protestors, parliament having full majority of the ruling government, jails filled with opponents, press has been muzzled and lawyers and journalists regularly harassed, activists fearing arrest and fleeing the country, even foreigners not safe and framed on charges like damaging national security, expelling students for interviewing activists etc.
This sounds to familiar. I have seen all this in a country other than Egypt. I am not going to name the country fearing arrest.
