Sarah, thank you for showing me what a normal family looks like when they do these home improvements because I literally fear when I hear we need to get new furniture, appliances or anything else related to things being moved. All I can hear is screaming and insults being hurled. I know that it might be like that in a lot of families but I knew that something else is possible.
With my family is the same. Like if the shelves I ordered would not fit my dad would start insulting me, throw a fit and give up on the work. It was so nice to see Solomon take it lightly, make jokes and laugh about it. What a wonderful family!

Great that you and your siblings help them with breathing some new air into their spaces and organize stuff etc. It's so helpful when someone comes in and gets this process of reorganizing and changing some stuff around started or does it for you with your input on what would be useful. We all get used to what we have and make it work. But sometimes changing it up a bit makes such a difference. Juan building and customizing everything is so cool. I have mad respect for this craft. My dad is a (now retired) master carpenter and he built so much for us over the decades. Also he's just very handy in general which is so great.

I love these videos. They have been really inspiring for me. I have been sick for a few years and finally figured out that I have celiac disease. I don't have a big budget but now that I finally feel better I have just completed a pantry project. Extremely important being the only one in the house eating a gluten free diet. Can't wait to see the pantry and upstairs!

Felt under appliances is one of the best solutions. A couple of bucks cut to size. And bam that kitchen aid mixer is super light 😁 It also works great on your granite for heavy appliances.

I have no words to describe the awesome feeling I feel that there is someone like you out there who goes far beyond the call of child duty to do this for their parents. I know there are millions of children out there who do almost the same in other ways by taking care of them, but like you? None that I've seen or heard. I don't know you at all, but if I get to meet you face to face, I would tip my hat off if I had one, I would give you the biggest bear hug and the most painful kiss on the chick, lol. I love you for what you are doing. Love, love, love. I'm not your parent, but I'm so proud of you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart that you are physically doing this for your parents with all the love and care you can possibly do. I'm so, so sure, they are the proudest and the most grateful parents on earth right now.
