Duncan didn't influence a younger generation, neither did Bird really. Basketball culture in the USA sucks, and it's not changing any time soon. Shit, in fact, after Jokic is done I'm very likely done with the NBA and checking out other leagues products. This coming from someone who growing up loved Bird, then MJ was my favorite player. Kobe was a good watch, but Jokic brought me back as a full time fan, and I really don't see another Jokic, MJ, or Bird sprouting up soon. No offense to Luka, unbelievably skilled, but he plays too similar to lebum, heliocentric ball for my taste.

Because Jokic is the greatest player of all time. If Lebron played with him or Jordan or anybody else, they wouldn't be nearly as good duo as Jokic and Murray 😂. Same about Scottie Pippen, if Scottie played with Joker, he would be even better player than he is right now. Jordan didn't make him better on the court, Scottie had to score by himself. Jokic would find Pippen every single time when he will be open and his efficiency would be definitely better if he played with Jokic.
