Forgotten Diary No. 18, Home Sweet Home, a grungy style junk journal SOLD

This overstuffed handmade grungy style junk journal, Forgotten Diary-Home Sweet Home, is the eighteenth in a series of forgotten diaries. It is inspired by a long forgotten journal that was discovered many years later in an attic or a trunk. This very grungy journal has distressed edges and threads, fabric swatches, and is filled with interesting spots to make notes. This journal contains many pieces of vintage ephemera, including articles from 1960's women's magazines, Workbasket magazine page from 1981, photographs, diary pages from 1929, 1930 and 1984, receipts from 1960s, vintage stamped postcards, envelope pocket postmarked 1944, rolodex page, grocery stamps, payroll envelope and more. There are also some reproduction items including vintage recipes, grocery folder, packet of coupons, and small photo album. The pages are coffee stained paper, pages from vintage record books, ledgers and cookbooks. The journal has 86 pages (edged with fabric) in three signatures, in a 1 1/2 inch spine, with fabric pockets. The cover has a tea stained fabric binding, verdigris key charm, and a muslin tie closure. The journal is 6 inches tall and 4.25 inches wide and there is only one available. Not all pages are shown. The journal is handmade and intended to have a vintage, grungy, distressed look. The journal comes gift wrapped in brown kraft paper tied with string.
