Curly and Shemp are my 2 favorite characters and they're funny
If I remember correctly, Moe, Larry and Curly had to hire body guards because when they went out in public, fans of the Stooges would try to walk up to them and poke them in the eyes and stuff, there were fans who literally believed that they couldn't feel pain or something because it looked real to them when they watched the Stooges films.
In real life, Moe and Larry were devoted husbands but Curly was a ladies man. He probably took Gail Tempest out to dinner after filming was done.
Sadly, Jerome "Curly" Horwitz (Howard) died very young at the age of 48 in 1952. Prior to his health issues, his and Moe's (Moses) older brother, Shemp (Samuel) return in for his youngest brother. Interesting fact is that Curly (Jerome) was an excellent athlete especially in basketball. Plus, Curly was very good dancer.

Curly was married 4 times. 2 of them lasted less than a year. Apparently he had very low self-esteem and would let a lot of women take advantage of him 😥
Any time we see Larry playing the violin that's really him. When he was a kid his dad was doing some experiment or work with acid, Larry came in and thought it was something else he tried to drink it, his dad saw him an knocked it out of his hand just in time but some spilled on his arm. He ended up taking violin lessons to help his arm muscles. Played violin a lot in his vaudeville days.
His parents had actually intended to send him to the famous Julliard music school, but because of the war that wasn't possible.
I think "Restless Knights" would be another good one to see.

I've never seen this in color. I just watched it in black and white as a kid (we had it on vhs)
If you ever want to chat about the stooges look me up here. There is so much to shares about their real lives I know. Like for one Moe is the one that gets hurt the most. And the eye gouging is not real. They poke right above the eyes like closer to the eye brows. The way they do it makes it look like it right in the eyes. 😂. I’ve been a stooges fan since I was a little man. And I’m 55 now. I know a lot about them enjoyed the shows.
Definitely a classic & one of my favorite Three Stooges shorts 🙂 You should do "A Plumbing We Go", another Three Stooges classic.

That instrument Moe is playing is probably a miniature harmonica; some people can play them in their mouths like that.

Also, I can kind of understand the novelty, at least the first time, of seeing old media like this in color, but for me, I always preferred the original Stooges shorts the way they were, in black-and-white. I don't know, I guess seeing the colorized version, IMO, makes them lose a lot about what makes them so special to me.
Fyi Larry was really violen musician he was in Vaudvile 1920s n 30s

It was funny when Moe took that gun and started shooting that guys hair piece which Larry thought was a tarantula, and you said, "didn't anybody check his pockets?" I thought that was so funny when you said that because the gun didn't belong to Moe, it belonged to that police officer. When he came over, Moe took it out of his holster and started shooting. lol and just like I said that last time I was on your channel, that bow in your hair looks so cool the way you wear it crooked like that. I've never seen anybody else wear one like that except you. You're just a trend setter. What made you come up with that idea? I hope you watch one of their scary shows sometime like the one called: "If a Body Meets a Body" or "Three Pests in a Mess". But you're always smiling and having a great time doing these reactions. Great reaction to this one too.
