DUDE... this video could have been 3 hours long and I would have watched every minute. Hearing from people who actually know and handle weapons that are into astronomical round counts is great.
agreed
Do they (BF las vegas) have a CZcams channel or blog of their own? I feel like they totally should. It would be so valuable.
David Hynes Agreed.
💯
SCAR 16s @ 8:09 mark. "to be conservative the 200k round count"..." Only 2 parts replaced"..."IT never breaks ever"... Damn. SCAR is a Beast and a proven system. Thank you sir for the video review.
you're welcome
Mrgunsngear Channel does the Scar 17 hold up the same way? AWESOME video BTW. One of the best on CZcams thanks
Have 17 and pound to pound way better than ar15 but big price
@bobbyclintbaldwin3839 I have had my 17 for a little over 10 years now I have shot the absolute hell out of it and not one part has ever failed on it. Of course I don't have 200k on it but at least 25k and it's just as accurate now as when I got it. It's also the cleanest gun I own it's weird it hardly gets dirty at all when I shoot it.
that's quite the praise for the scar
The SCAR is one of the best rifles ever made. I've shot over 30 thousand+ rounds through mine (the SCAR 17) and haven't had a single failure. I love it... It's probably my favorite rifle, along with the MP5 and Thompson (haven't had any failures with those as well).
@@chrism6904 I just bought a 16. Saved for a bit, and sold my ACR to finish up the funds I needed. I loved that rifle, buuut I've wanted a SCAR for years. Had to do it.
@@Recoil816 How is it running so far?
@@nikolaisemenoff9092 Like a sewing machine. Smooth and reliable. I would trust it even before my Arsenal AKs every day of the week.
This was a genius idea for a video. I'd love to see more of these armorers interviews
thanks
A Part 2 would be awesome. More detail and round counts please!
This is such an exceptional video. Please do a part 2
we shall see...
"$5 Charge for Whining". The shop I'm at needs one of those.
lol amen
Hell ya. 😎
"Common weapon systems platforms" Yeager just had a stroke.
But Yeager is an idiot, so no one will really miss him if he has a stroke.
:D
That clears things up on the AK's with stamped vs. milled receivers. I knew it. Milled master race.
heck yeah brother
Both have pro's and cons.I only buy stamped and have never ever had a single problem. If you're shooting full auto (99% are not)get milled,if semi auto theres no advantage with milled.
real isrealite,
@@realisrealite5554 if you truly believe that you need to watch akous videos on aks. He shoots aks all day long and torture tests them man. He does it to psa, npap, century, meridian defense or whatever, wasr etc etc etc.
Mainly what you get w a milled ak when you're shooting semi ,is better fit and finish, smoother action also the gun runs and shoots smoother, but stamped is just fine very very few ppl will shoot out a standard ak, that said I really do love the fit and feel and how smooth my sam7r shoots and runs it's a solid gun
I really hope you and Battlefield Vegas end up coming up with another channel specifically expanding on their experiences, weapons and suggestions, these guys I could listen to endlessly
Fantastic interview with the armorer and I really appreciate you taking the time to conduct it.
I live in Vegas and we have many gun ranges near the strip, great video on just one of many kick ass places to shoot in Vegas. Many of these gun ranges get much of there business from foreigners who can't own guns or even see and touch a gun, because they are banned in there countries. So when these people come to America (Vegas) from Australia, Europe, Asia etc. many for the first time (maybe only time) they have the chance to FINALLY experience shooting a gun/guns they often see in movies and video games and they are totally blown away by the experience!
Most of them even take there target sheets back home to show off and reminisce about there first time, probably only time, shooting a real gun. And for us 'lucky' Americans it's a great opportunity to shoot full auto weapons that we can't easily own. Great video sir!
Thank you
I absolutely loved this video. Two thumbs up and please if you get the chance again make another one.
I love the SCAR 16s & 17s both great guns, id take one over an AR anyday
they're great shooters
Me too … but I’m glad I reload .308 to feed my Scar17
Can't believe I just now saw this video! Bro one of my favorite videos you've done so far nice job
I add very few videos to my favorites list. This one by far is one of the more important ones on the list. What an enormous favor you've done for us.
Wow thanks so much for the awesome video. It's a real treat hearing so much information from someone with so much experience working across so many different platforms.
You're welcome
Great vid. Makes me feel good about my milled Bulgy Arsenals.
Awesome video as always. Probably my favorite video so far. Keep them coming
Super cool video! I love hearing about stuff like this. Thanks for making it!
I now have a new respect for the FNH scar 16. so happy to hear the Filipino guns have respect at Battlefield Vegas. great video bro.
Why do you have so much pride for a country that you and your family abandoned? I'm not trying to be rude just asking an honest question. My parents left South America in the 1960's and I was born in America. I dont see any logical reason why I would divide myself into a race team, wave the flag of the country my parents left and act so proud to be from a place my parents did not want to live in. If I thought that other country was so great , I would just move there.
However you seem to be in love with the Phillipines, so the question remains why are you in America if the Phillipines is such a great place?
I thought you were too busy absorbing the gun information to notice anything else
JohnnyBoyCali who said I have so much respect for a country my parents left? my parents are from California so I don't really know what you are talking about? as for the Philippines....I have no loyalty to the country itself. I like the culture especially the knife history and the newer gun history....and I don't see why that is an issue to anyone? As far as people leaving their country....I hate to break it to you but not everyone leave because they hate the life there. Some leave because they joined the US military and simply stayed where they were last stationed (like Hawaii).
Ok ok I gotta admit I was happy to hear the round count on the scar16 😆
:D
This, I always wanted one and was always told it was a waste of money. Fuck those guys.
+PhalanxR and now the scar 16s are hard to find
PhalanxR Dude when i picked my 16s up a few years back, i got it for 2g's an my local shop also threw in a mag pul sling, an AFG and few pre ban colt mags (cause thats what we were able to have here in NY before sandy hook) it was money well spent.
saltis916 i've been hearing that, prob gonna have to wait till the next shipments come in.
Thanks for all your time and knowledge you drop. Really appreciate your thoroughness.
you're welcome
Love this, a lot of great info on several firearms all in one video and not drawn out. Do more of these videos.
👍👍👍outstanding! What a fun and informative video! 👌thank you!
thank you
One of your best videos sir. Thank you.
thank you
Thanks to all for this informative video !
That was one of the most informative videos I have seen in months. I wish you had asked about several other guns. But honestly my mind was blown by all the useful info. It is as I suspected long ago that most used guns are usually thousands of rounds away from their break point. Thanks
@mrgunsngear honestly this video to me answered more of my gun questions then any other gun video to date on CZcams!! Thanks man you have no idea how cool this is for us to finally have these topics talked about with someone who actually has real life experience and not just online forum rumors from people who have shot 1000 rounds in their entire life!!!
Thank you
Thank You! Very interesting confirmation of FNH overall and Glock and Rock Island!
indeed
That was absolutely fantastic Brother. Thank you.
One of your best videos, ever. Very solid experience based info.
This is the best, most informative gun video I've ever seen, it answers so many arguments that have been going on for years. One question is I'm guessing these are dealer sample guns?
it really does, there's no argument in how many rounds all of those firearms go through an what the armorers have to replace.
thanks
Dude... awesome video.
thank you
Thanks VERY much for sharing your visit! Amazing place!
You're welcome 👍🏽
I watched this video again.
Mrgunsngear you really did a great job on covering pretty much the exact guns I have or am curious about.
I'm surprised this video hasn't got more views as its very important info for sure.
Ah man! I would have wanted to see some more reports on the newer Polymer technologies and my beloved Beretta! :-) Specifically, i would have liked to have seen Px4 and ARX compared to some of the more traditional designs, such as the 92, 226, SCAR, and AR-15, &c..
This needs a chapter 2 and 3. I would love to know the failure on high quality 1911s like Wilson Combat since they should not use MIM sears or hammers. Also CZ75 parts failure and FN 509, Beretta APX, and SIG 320. Thanks for such awesome vids!
You're welcome 👍🏽
great information as always thanks for this video. Was always curious about the failure rates of many of these types of guns and furniture. keep up the great work!
This is a very helpful video. Now I know what parts to have at hand for my ARs, AKs, and 1911s. Thank you.
One of my favorite videos.
thank you
badass video! thanks
Thanks
You put a very informative spin on your trip to Battlefield. Best video out of there I have seen. Thanks!
You're welcome 👍🏽
Spectacular video! Thank you!
Great vid. I just wish that you squeezed more information out of them.
From the forum posts that I read, the Colt M4 has been the most reliable AR-15 at their range. Their bolt carrier groups have supposedly lasted over 60,000 rounds. In comparison, most other bolt carrier groups start to break at 20,000 rounds or less.
Amazing, thanks for the clarification. Which forum are you speaking of? Thanks!
TaskForceSixTwoSix lol Roger that and thanks my friend
checkout bcm they make incredible products and bcm is never short on quality
noted, thanks.
***** calm down nobody threatened anyone read everything carefully there were no threats
Thank you for the SCAR 16 review. Just made up my mind about buying that (CZ BREN CLONE).
you're welcome
Mind giving an update on how's it holding up since you bought it?
the CZ is not even close to a scar16
Very interesting video man thanks for putting this up for us. Informative for sure
Excellent video. I hope there will be a part 2!
@10:53
Mrgunsngear is like: "....say it...... come on................ SAY IT..... SAY SIG P226!!!" lol
Great video btw!
We need a part2
Best video ever, sir! That answers so many questions!
Really good video! Thanks for making this video!
Palmetto State armory! Lol thank god
Perpetual state of 'out of stock' lol but you can always hope.
+Gerald West just buy the lowers then get a upper take less time. 3-4days
Beaneeman67 Roger that, thank you!
+Gerald West any time.
+TheNegativeOne 1 F em the truth hurts!!
so buy a scar and a glock 17? Sounds good to me.
Or a milled receiver ak within russian/bulgarian spec.
Awesome video! IMO a much better insight into these platforms than other "torture tests". Fascinating info on the SCAR, mine will never see 200k rounds but good to know it can take it.
Great stuff Mike, thanks a bunch.
Most of my Ar15s are PSA premium builds! Good to hear, although I kinda knew, but now it's proven!
lol FNH for the win!
That said, I wonder how well the Brens will hold up.
they don't come close at all
@@andrewpeterson549 In what way?
This reminds me of talking to my mechanic buddies, you really get straight answers on what works and what doesn't. Thanks for the video.
you're welcome
This is one of the most informative firearm videos out there on the internet right now. Did this guy do the similar forum posts on arfcom/m4c about high round count ARs? Same company at least?
Either way, I wish I could get their insights on every single gun out there. That information is soooo valuable.
That was an extremely interesting video. I'm not sure that I'll ever approach any of those round counts but I enjoyed the video all the same.
thank you
Most durable gun ever created:
RAS-47
Awesome video man. Keep up the great work.
Brilliant , good presentation from yourself and the armourer. I hope to visit there when in Vegas, cheers
alright guys, we need to get these guys to go out if business. if we do ammo prices and availability will be better for the rest of us lol
:D
Cool upload. What about the M9 pistol? Do they have them?
That's what I was interested in but we already know it will last forever.
+Steve austin not so much. The locking blocks are notorious for breaking at around 5k rds. I just ordered a new one for mine after less than 4K rds.
ontarioknivesNS7 That hasn't been my experience as I had one with over 17K rounds with no problems or breakages at all. Guide rod spring was starting to weaken but that's all. Also if that was the case they would have never got the military contract as they fired them well over 5K rounds and you can look those tests up.
Yes very interested in the M9. Great video though as normal I really need to head down there looks like a good time.
+Steve austin you can look it up, it's a very real problem in the M9/92 series of pistols. I'm impressed you got 17k rounds out of a recoil spring, they're supposed to be changed out at 5-8k intervals so they don't literally cause the gun to beat itself to death. Look up Beretta locking block failure and see what comes up
This is valuable knowledge. Thanks for posting!
That was quality knowledge transfer, thanks brother.
Is the SCAR worth it? I don't know?! But now I gotta find out! I've wanted one for years, but the price always turned me away.
I think so
Mrgunsngear Channel got one on order! it will be at my ffl by the weekend. So Excited!
Get the 17
SCAR is king...interesting.
indeed
He also said they havent broken a single milled ak so... they are equal in terms of durability.
To bad a lot of people can’t afford the scar 16
King until you take it out in the desert. The military is moving away from them due to reliability problems in the wild.
@@paulbarclay4114 do you have a source for that bro?
Most informative gun video on CZcams yet!
All excellent information!!! Thanks for sharing.
thank you
Take that Glock haters!
So, Belgium owns firearms durability.
Well the 240 is made in Belgium, which is a fantastic machine gun. As far as the 249 SAW, I am glad they have had good luck with them, but I know most soldiers do not. the SAW was extremely unreliable.
Thanks for the video... Very informative
Awesome video, great perspective to hear from those armorers!
Thank you

HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE SCAR 16 NOT 17
I would like to know who cuts his hair. It is the perfect haircut.
every time!
Hey, there is a pistol that no one is reviewing and I've seen the internals a few times and it's one of the best designed striker fired pistols I've ever seen. It's the beretta APX, if you have the chance to do a review on it, it will be cool for all of us.
Great informational video. One of your best.
thank you
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing.
fn scar is the best 556 out there!!!
doubt it
This is true you're speaking facts
@@rwhites4793 HAHAH youre poor.
Great video! The takeaway for me is... it's time to pick up a C39 V2. :)
Hell no, at least get a DDI...Jeez, stop buying shit and stay away from century arms unless its an import.
change the bcg, the bolt, the trigger group and then change the receiver.
C39V2 sucks. Look at MAC and AKOU they both have theirs failing with only 3000+ rounds.
That is the problem!
Get a Milled 7.62x39, a Vepr 5.45, a Colt AR-15A4 twenty inch, and call it a life.
Fantastic video! Very interesting stuff.
GREAT VIDEO!! This was one of the most informative video's i've seen. Run hard and put away wet testing. Thank you.
thank you
He not a fan of Sig 226 which is one of the greatest handguns ever. And the Glock slides are breaking more and more there. 1911 just works.
10:45 His mind was REALLLLLLY searching for an answer. No, no gun is as durable or reliable as the Glock. Sorry.
I noticed that he had an HK patch on his arm and I was waiting for him to say HK... but it never happened.
+HachiZenki Yeah, I referring to the handgun segment but that is an excellent point.
no, we just had the conversation off camera and I think he was trying to recall what he said earlier. He also dislike's the 226 so that doesn't help
Mrgunsngear Channel haha. that makes sense.
***** I'm not dissing HK, just surprised that he doesn't blurt it out w/o hesitation. Like Hachi says, he mentioned the 416.
Excellent video, thanks for posting!
you're welcome
This one of the best video ideas ive seen in a long time!
why is everyone with this whole "weapon system" thing? just call it a firearm. or gun.
or weapon system...?
like mattv2099 says.. weapon system platform system operating system platform system- platform system. lol
+Mrgunsngear Channel idk, just seems its overcomplicating it
Why you call a rifle a weapon system? A weapon system is something like a phalanx on a navy ship. But maybe i am wrong.
You're wrong
I wasn't paying too much attention to that, but for like an AR, the lower is kinda the weapon, but it can mount many different uppers in all the different calibers and even different styles of operation, so I imagine he's calling the lower a system to mount all different types of weapons.
ergo, weapon system
people say weapon system platform to sound cool, because apparently saying gun or rifle is considered dumb or not tacticool enough
nope. weapon system has always been used along with other service jargon.
Awesome video man! Love to see what really holds up.
thank you
Awesome video, tons of great knowledge.
What in the fuck is a weapon system platform. Those look like rifles to me.
Exactly
I believe he was talking about the work bench.
1.)an assemblage or combination of things or parts forming a complex or unitary whole:
a mountain system; a railroad system.
2.)a set of principles or procedures according to which something is done; an organized scheme or method.
"a multiparty system of government"
Please learn English. A rifle is a system of parts forming one whole. Any process or whole thing can be a system. How you decide to brush your teeth is your own system. Every object made up of different parts is a sytem and those parts are part of that system. Its a way of organizing the parts of different objects and its correct English.
JohnnyBoyCali Oh thanks so much It's not like I was being sarcastic or anything..... hey I guess they say you learn something new everyday eh?
You're obviously not military or law enforcement. Actually really common verbiage.
Excellent Vid Sir. Thank you
Aside from the video where you saved the dog from the trap, this has been my favorite video! Great behind the scenes look and an amazing place. Keep up the great work MG&G.
Great video! Very informative!
Great video! Wish it were longer.
Nice, happy to hear PSA holds up, good to know what parts to back up!
Great video, thanks for the tour!
thank you
I'm really glad you done this video. I wish I could like it more than once.
