To echo everyone else - this definitely should've been a scene available to all players regardless of romance choices. It's good that Geralt gets to spend his days with Yennefer or Triss but this father/daughter kind of interaction would've made for a better feeling of closure and such for everyone.
Romance both Triss and Yen + good ending with ciri = you will get this. I think it is the best scenario.
then you just have to use the Multi Companion Mod and bring Yen or Triss or both to the vineyard.

MrDpsc Agreed. They're supposed to be a family. Ciri & Yen even call each other mother and daughter. Even the damn emperor refers to Ciri as "your daughter" to Geralt and Yen in the last book. Still though, don't want to be all negative. It's an amazing goodbye to one of the greatest games I've ever played.

It's the Witcher World, and as far as I remember if Ciri doesn't agree to become Empress someday - The Emhyr gets killed or rules with an iron fist, which means she travels everyday through a war torn continent.
Which, as we know, can be kinda depressing if we consider all the tragic stories Geralt encounters in Witcher 3 alone.
So Witcher Ciri is the best ending? I just finished playing and got Empress Ciri. Willing to NG+ to get Ciri Witcher if this is the best ending for her.

@skankhunt42 it's funny because we give Lena the Swallow potion which is meant to help with healing and it still made her braindead. Ciri drank a potion that turns a witcher's blood into a toxic/acidic nightmare.

Geralt know his time is coming.. Tbh lambert geralt and ezkel should've re opened their witcher school and train more witchers. Imagine the new line of witchers like those orphan kids during the baron quest and ciri would bring in gretka. Train them all. When geralt Lambert and ezkel time comes ciri then become the grandmaster of the school like vesemir was.

Puzzling Centaur it’s so frustrating. I know I sound like a broken record but it really doesn’t make any sense how that idea came to pass. It’s so ironic considering CDPR’s level of detail and the attention to logic and coherency that they put in this game so for them to put aside the very obvious, beautiful moment of having the three reunite and live together in this charming house in this gorgeous, fairytale land... it just doesn’t make sense.
I’m on my 2nd playthrough and I’m hesitant to continue because I haven’t made up my mind yet. Yen or Ciri. I just don’t know which one’s more wholesome.
Editing to mention that I genuinely love Yen and I want her for Geralt. I believe in them as a couple and it’s something I ship just as much as the father/daughter relationship with Ciri.

They wanted people to get confused first in if she should be a witcher or empress and then in life partner Vs daughter. Best ending is a free ciri ( witcher ) which can freely meet geralt and yen at their home and stay their few days after long journeys.

Even though I like the ending with Yen, ending with Ciri is so much better: It's like Geralt sees Ciri already as a professional Witcher and decides that it is time for him to let her have her own adventures... eeeh really hope CDPR will make a new Witcher with Ciri as a main playable character
in my head-canon I like to think that they go on contracts together sometimes just so they can spend time with each other and have a father-daughter moment doing what they love: Killing Monsters!

The only problem I see with that is that Ciri (If I remember the in-game lore right) is the most powerful being in the Witcher universe. I'd be had to raise tensions and give her a challenge with the amount of power she has
Well, maybe defeating the white frost left her depowered or something like that, after all, it was her destiny to stop it so one could asume that after fulfilling it her power would deminish or something like that (also, not much about the elder blood faculties is know, tho they would have to be very carefull not to break the whole fantasy behind it by fucking it up).
Also, remember that the power that the elder blood gives mostly concers dimensional travel, or blinking (this as far as we know), so it all depends on her reaction times, face her against the Unseen one and i dont think that she could win, neither against Gaunter o´dimm (in the first case not even Geralt stands a chance)
But yeah, her power puts her above the normal races, so it would be hard to put her in a game, she would have to mostly fight monsters, cuz humans would be a joke.
Such a shame there's only 3 dialogue options. This IS Geralt and Ciri's swansong after all, maybe they could've done a bit more. Or maybe I'm just incredibly sad because I didn't want it to end.

Why we get Yen/Triss and Ciri to visit/stay and not Eskel and Lambert? I mean, the boys had to find some new places to spend the winter at since Vesemir's death. They were important. I'd LOVE an ending when they both come to visit you - for the winter at least, if not just simply moving to Toussaint or the surrounding grounds to hunt monsters here, plenty of them after all - raid your house, claim it their new turf and party like there's no tomorrow, emptying all of your precious wine bottles 😁

I think this is my favorite ending of them all if I consider both the books and the games. The endings with Yen/Triss are nice too but this feels like something more fitting for the saga overall, it was always about Geralt&Ciri's bond through destiny and them trying to find a way back to each other. Seeing them both arrive at a place in their lives where they're at peace and together again is very satisfying.

How could Ciri drink Black Blood? Witcher's potion are made just for witchers, humane can't drink them, even Geralt says that in the beginning area, White Orvhard
Probably an oversight by CDPR. Could also be the Elder Blood affects her use of potions.
she did take some of the mutegens while at Kaher Morhen , but triss useds some spells so that she wouldnt take the side effects
i think its her elder blood. In the books when, ciri was a child, she was taken by some dryads and they gave her some kind of potion that would turn her into a dryad. She drank the potion but there was no effect at all. When geralt later just sniffed the stuff he immediatly had hallucinations and felt sick etc. despite his resitance against toxins. So perhaps she can drink some witcher potions, despite not having been submitted to any witcher mutations.
She didn't take any mutagens while at Kaer Mohren, just some steroids "mushrooms and letttuce". Triss didn't use any of those spells on Ciri, only healed her wounds, and she had plenty of those.

I believe steel would work on them. The wild hunt are all elves, not monsters, in the third game. The style of their armor and the magic they use during their raids is why people think they are specters. It has been a while since I played the game though.
@@gadman85 The Aen Elle use MAGICAL Armour that's covered in Frost Magic (based/formed from the White Frost) then they also use Golem "Hounds" and Spirit Projections. The Silver Sword is used against Magical Creatures...That use magic. It doesn't matter that they're Nonhumans given all the magic they use it would be most effective to use the silver blade. (Which is what the game literally tells you to use when you look at their health bars being silver instead of red.)

alsenar2 they said that CDPR is working on two entirely new IPs. Which means Cyberpunk 2077 and another game. If that's the case (considering how much time they put into their games) don't be surprised if we don't see another Witcher game for another six or seven years or so. Or maybe not even at all

I think it could of been neat that no matter what romance option Ciri would visit when you’re at the home, and her dialogue would change depending on the ending like if she was to become queen then she’ll say how boring it is learning that stuff and looks forward to seeing Geralt, meanwhile if she chooses to just adventure she’ll comment how it’s fun and dangerous but always wants to visit

If I remember correctly, Ciri never underwent the mutations, and Black Blood is a witcher's potion, something she should not have been able to drink without heavy side effects.
The main reason I like this ending is because it opens up a chance for a ciri game, and even though cdpr says geralts story is done this allows him to tag along on difficult contracts, also I remember the conversation during the final preparation where ciri says she wanted to be carefree that is not possible in the empress ending, she is doing what she must not what she wants, the game does a pretty good job by hinting some of the best endings like who to end up with(yen) and what ciri must become, it's sad ciri doesn't visit if you romance yen, if she could visit I wanted the last mission to be all three of them having a portrait painted. The closest to that was the anniversary video.

Correct me if im wrong but isnt Ciri in the end a human. sure she has the Elder blood but she hasnt undergone mutations. So how can she drink the black blood potion and not die from it? As far as I remeber it is one of the potions with the highest toxicity and Geralt stated that even swallow could kill a human which has much lower toxicity.
@@emily_b_hedin It is indeed stated that Geralt having undergone mutation was immune to the waters of Brokilon aswell and Ciri also seems to be immune to diseases (as she didnt contract the Catriona plague). However I dont think the mushrooms have anything to do with it Nenneke herself said they were natural growth stimulants. But when Ciri was stranded in the desert she did get diarhea and nausea from eating some wrong things.
So in the end all I can conclude its not completely outrageous that Ciri can drink witcher potion but it does seem weird
I don't think Geralt has ever said that witcher potions can't be taken by humans he's remarked that the side effects would be much more severe on them because of the fact that their metabolism isnt as advance as a Witcher's the woman you save at white orchard if you decided to give her a swallow she lives but she grows emotionally distant and starts to forget certain things.
In Ciri's case it's probably due to her Elder blood specifically since they remark that the woman in her bloodline always have some type of extraordinary abilities this can range to many things since its never elaborated too much on what
@@1stclassdork578 The woman have extraordinary capabilities in relation to magic. Elder blood seems to have little to no biological effect. Ciri gets ill, sick and tired like any normal child. And since witcher potions are natural and not magic in nature I dont think Ciri can really survive drinking them

It can be magical but even Ciri's power is uncommon to most seen before we really don't have a full concrete range of how the elder blood effects them fully.
That and again Witcher potions can be taken by humans but the effects they have on them are pretty severe either she developed some sort of resistance to them wether that be through magical means or creating a potion/herbs that helps her deal with the side effects so they are less severe its anyone's guess really

Hold up, something confused me, she mentions she consumed Black Blood, but Witchers Potions aren't meant for Humans, yes while Ciri is technically a witcher with this ending, she never undergoes the mutations, she merely has elder blood and the sword geralt collects from the ex-nilfgarrdian camp in white orchard, shouldn't she be in a similar state to that of Lena from White Orchard? A vegetable that can't talk, never smiles, stuff like that? My theory is maybe her elder blood protects he from adverse affects, but as far as I know nothing concrete backs that up in game.

She dies "soon" because she is just another human. Her live expectancy is like 50 years. Probably less, another emperor is said to be the next in the books, so if we take that as true Ciri will never rule (probably flee or get assasinated [even though that would never happen to her]).

Would also be nice for to have a beer with Vessimer at Kaer Morhen and fix what he wanted done. And have yen or triss or no one show up in the end.
