I understand the mark on her neck at the hospital is a Godzilla cell. Which might explain why she survived the blast!
I've also heard that the tattoo on her neck is a symbol for Mothra. Perhaps Mothra will be featured in the next movie? 🤔 -OG
Did you notice the blackened blood vessels (?) appeared on Noriko's neck? She must have regenerated thanks to G-cells.

Seen it several times. Ignored the subtitles and paid attention to the settings. The dates, props & historical references are brilliant. The characters are the survivors of the "Tokyo Fire Bombing of March 10th 1945". Mankind's worst, more casualties and lost in history to the Hiroshima Bomb. A new type Bomber and Incendiary Bombs developed just to rain fire on the civilian's of Tokyo.
Koichi's '37 Japanese manufactured Harley Davidson Motorcycle, is a favorite. An arrangement between Harley Davidson and Japan.
The Warships & that Rear Prop Fighter are Historical facts. The "Takao" was involved on the attack of Pearl Harbor. Too many historical references to list. Should research for yourselves if, you're into that. Akiko's stuffed animal must be some kind of historical toy.
Takashi Yamasaki is brilliant. Given the Oscar in Hollywood California on March 10th, 2024. Interesting and very cool.
The film is called Minus One because post World War II left Japan in ruins. They had to start all over again from ground Zero.
Then Godzilla shows up and wrecks even more havoc. They then went from Zero to Minus One! Even further back than before!! -OG
Such a great time to be a Godzilla fan. With this movie, legacy of monsters and the new empire being big hits. I can't wait for future projects 🔥🔥🔥

I checked that again but It still keeps sounding "Shiki-chan" to my ears and that's not so bad if he calls him like this 'cuz they are already close friends eath other. And I personally like it. Because we can feel him so close for it.

I disagree. I think the music did match the montage. It encompasses his friends at work and the bond he has with his newfound family at home. He's on his way to letting go of the past. -OG
I disagree again. The end scene is perfect. She looks angelic because that Godzilla cell on her neck was helping to heal her.
Also, post credit scenes are an American thing. I don't believe other countries do that. Bedsides, who enjoys waiting through all the credits just to see a possible tease? -OG
Fun fact: Takashi Yamazaki the director of this film is a big fan of Godzilla, he also featured Godzilla as cameo in "Always: Sunset on Third Street" on 2005 and he is the director of "Godzilla the Ride: Giant Monsters Ultimate Battle" which have same design for Godzilla in this film
The Creator did have great vfx but in all honesty nothing truly new. nothing we havent seen before, and despite using a small Guerrilla style production crew for principle photography and the clever use of some very inexpensive camera equipment, they still had access to a decent size budget and crew for their vfx. 1,600+ shots over 9 studios including ilm with total vfx crew of over 1000. Minus One , which had a vfx crew of just 35 people !!!!!. not withstanding the likely hood they outsourced some of the work like roto and tracking. So by merit of what was achieved, the amount of vfx shots 630 timeframe and budget.. oh absolutely they deserved the Oscar. over everyone else.

The movie's out. He probably did download a rip, but realistically Toho can't prove he didn't actually import the bluray and put fansubs over his own copy.

No, he did not pirate the movie. The movie is out on Blu-ray in Japan. CZcamsrs are just buying it directly from Japan to get to finally react to it. It’s legal.

個人的な意見ですが、幸せな年月をともに過ごすモンタージュに音楽がとても合っていると思います。緊張がほぐれる心あたたまる場面でした。
In my opinion, I thought the music is very well suited to the montage for the happy years they spent together. It was a heartwarming sequence that relieved my tension.
