CPU IN THE WATER?!?
It’s not even that bad if you dry it properly
Yeah. You can bury those things and do a lot more to them as long as the pins are safe and dried properly
It's probably isopropyl alcohol
@@ATCmon no isopropyl alcohol has a little but more bubbles when things are thrown in it, but CPU's can go in water, in fact anything can go in water you just got to let it dry the fuck out.
Or it's isopropyl alcohol
Does motor oil work for liquid cooling
Gotta see this
Immersed oil cooling is a thing so maybe
Yes but motor oil will eat plastic
No, motor oil is for thermal applications above 100C and not below it
its more for lubrication than heat transfer. the pump would last forever but the temps would suck
his ass is NOT cooling down the cpu
😂

Video 58 of asking you to solder a CPU cooler on a CPU.

Just fyi yt thinks ur spam
@@Furry_smasherdon’t worry even if yt thinks it’s spam they won’t do anything about it. It’s not like they don’t have 1000 bots on every channel that they do nothing about or anything
@@Furry_smasherwell i have copied the same comment to many videos
@@BlackArche0psit isn't like they don't do anythubg about it, it is that they are always different accounts, just read their names you will never find 2 bots with the same name
@@prathix4339 nah CZcams could do a lot more. Unlike on other apps like Instagram they use common words when spamming. Pretty much the only thing CZcams does is ban swear words and links
Imagine the insane lore behind glorb💀
Glorb lorb
This guy just Murders CPUs for his Inhumane Experiments.
He isn't place cpu in water when it's running, as long as u properly dry the CPU, then it's fine.

Thanks kermit
My whole body hurt after seeing that CPU enter the water
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Why lol? It's completely fine, it's not currently in-use. Water is only super bad for electronics currently running electricity.
I'm fairly sure it's isopropyl
Water doesn't instantly harm electrical circuits if it isn't running. The amount of comments like this on videos I've seen of people washing their GPUs is crazy lol. Just let it dry for a few days and it'll be fine, maybe with a dehumidifier next to it with some rice.
@@VoidHxnter some were talking about corrosion, which is a valid concern, but only if it's not dried out immediately and you plan on exposing it to more and more water. gold on a CPU won't even corrode, and nothing important is exposed, it's just silicon, gold, and the metal IHS. None will corrode anyway.
This thermoplastic is called Polycaprolactone, or ‘PCL’. I made a shorts video on it a few days ago.

Glorb boutta have an epic music career
Please sir u don't waste CPU because i need that 😢
It isn’t being damaged. Water does not damage CPUs that aren’t connected to power.
Is thermoplastic just a fancy word for hot glue?
There are three basic classifications of polymers: thermoplastics, elastomers, and thermosets.
Thermoplastics are polymers like the one shown in the video which can become malleable when heated. This property is due to the lack of cross linking between polymer chains and they can pass eachother with enough energy to break the van der waal forces (similar to loose thread or yarn).
Thermosets are polymers that begin as a liquid or a thermoplastic then are cured when exposed to UV light or an activator chemical. This creates cross links between the chains causing them to harden. However, due to the cross linking, the plastic is unable to be reheated and malleable again and instead burns (similar to a woven piece of fabric that’s hard to neatly take apart).
Elastomers are between thermoplastics and thermosets. They have more cross linking than thermoplastics but less than thermosets. This makes them elastic due to the spacing between cross links allowing for minimal movement between chains (similar to a fishing net).
Hope this is helps!
I wonder what would happen if you blended everything that you use as a thermal paste alternative with thermal paste, to make the ultimate thermal paste, like liquid metal toothpaste, diamond dust, gold dust, etc.
And then did a comparison of temperatures between those two
in all things in the world, why CPU??
Can you use freon to see if you can cool a PC?
Can you cook an egg on a running cpu
Barely because a cpu doesn’t reach that high temperature
@@DeadMemeProductionsu sure?
@@ggm000 It will thermal throttle
You have to use an old cpu with no thermal throttling or shutoff built in.
However, I feel like you can cook an egg well under 100c, which is the the thermal limit for most cpu these days?
I9 be like: Hold my thermal paste
You should try using graphite powder. like the stuff ya can get for locks n stuff. would be a good test i recon since they make actual pads from it
Nah wtf are these bots man, really a shame theyre on your videos. Love your content lol

You know there’s a word for “plastic becoming extremely moldable”
Until you said it wasn't very thermal conductive I was thinking why not slowly tighten the heat sink onto it to make a new kind of thermal paste that envelopes the cpu.
can you try soldering wires between cpu and cpu socket
That works but it degrades performance and would be a huge fire hazard and pain in the @ to do but it would be cool
> "Extremely moldable"
> it's straightup molten
Btw he used distilled water to vlean the cpu , so that there are no minerals on the cpu pins(minerals are conductive to electricity)
Bro just put the CPU in water
I spent 3 hours and almost passed out 4 times, but here it is your termic paste
who came on the cpu
Homemade termal paste 🥛
Lol have you considered doing the DO NOT EAT packets next? 🤔
Could you test them as a replacement to thermal paste
I'm so happy these aren't like. Brand new flagship cpus
I know as long as there is no power going into it it won’t be ruined and if it dries before you use it it want be ruined even if it’s mineral water or mineral oil or whatever it still hurts so much
What happens if you remove the cover of the cpu and apply thermal paste
Now you need direct die cooling or beefy thermal pad. But CPU would be fine, unless you decide to give it LM bath.
That is a The Verge amount of beads.

Moldable? No no- malleable. 🤓✨
What happens if you put soldering flux on a cpu instead of thermal paste
Why don't you do a test of "what would happen if I put my hand into the electric current?"
What type of plastic was it? Thermoplastics are a wide range of materials, from stuff like this to nylons that are in loads of things, to plane interiors since they can be fireproof and even stuff capable of withstanding pretty much all chemicals, up to 280 C and being stronger than steel by volume.
I love polymorph so much!
