This is so beautiful!! I really love the cover page. I just have to say, please don’t use watercolor paper for your Copics, it will fray the nibs and ruin them. Really smooth marker paper is what you need. It comes in various thicknesses, but it’s smooth so it doesn’t ruin the markers, and yes, the Copics will still bleed through, but the colors shows up beautifully ☺️ I used Copics to create parts of my October spreads, but I glued in the marker paper 😊
Thanks for the advice!! For my groovy painting I used marker paper and I can tell they are meant to use with that type of paper for sure. Was just too lazy to use it for my spread honestly 😄 but will probably do that in the future so I dont ruin them!

Just a little piece of advice I guess cause my heart was bleeding a little when I saw you use the copics. xD Alcohol based markers (like copics) really aren't made for regular paper - no matter the weight. The alcohol seeps right into the paper which leaves very smooth and flat colors. But since it basically penetrates deep into the paper, it also bleeds through. Sometimes even through multiple pages, so be careful with that!
Also, don't use them for lettering in case you want to do that. The nib will be easily damaged cause of it and starts to break and feather. 😣 An experience I could've lived without. lol
same. i have these markers at home … i always use it with marker paper. with that shit it doesnt bleed at all !!!
Thanks! Yes I have been using my marker paper usually with them and they work much better that way. I was honestly just too lazy to paste marker paper in my journal but now that I know they can fray from regular paper I'll have to be more careful with them! Thanks for the advice!!

Interesting dark colors. Good idea to use water color paper then glue it in. I might try that if I try watercolor. I think my journal would mess up bad if I added watercolor to it. My October Bullet art journal is up now if you or anyone else would like to see.

I love copic markers but ultimately they are alcohol based and therefore cant really be used on thin paper like that bc it bleeds so much.

Copics don't bleed through marker paper also it prevents your precise details from feathering, other types of paper that are less smooth are also ruining the nibs.... I ruined 3 pages when I began with them 😂good luck! And I like your watercolor

I was really surprised, no, shocked, when I saw you use the copics in the Leuchtturm. Every alcoholmarker will bleed through heavily and also actually loose a lot of ink. I mean, if you do not care just du it, but I really wouldn't recommend to use alcohol markers on any kind of "normal" paper. (:
You said a while ago that you tweeked the studio brush pen on procreate to fit your style can you make a video on how you did that, because i have always wanted to know how you got that type of brush pen style and i still cant figure it out.
