This is so beautiful! Does anyone know what notes his strings are tuned to? I have a sarangi, but I don't know how to tune it, and I am afraid I might tune it too high. How high can it be tuned?
@@deepupradhan2408 Thank you for your note.. Since I wrote this I ended up suddenly having to move out of where I've lived for 25 years. I had to downsize considerably, and I needed to let go of some of my instruments. I have a musician friend who knows a lot of people from Nepal, and she has taken the sarangi and will pass it on. Perhaps in my next lifetime I will learn to play the sarangi. I fell in love with the sound but it seems this is not the right time for me to learn how to play. I did enjoy "playing around" on it while I had it. Best to you.
